City of Vale
6th DistrictA young man around the age of 18 was walking down the streets of Vale, a normal and brisk day in the fall, for most of the summer days are just now starting to pass. The leaves on all the trees around him are an assortment of different colors, slowly falling off and flying around when the wind blew even lightly.
It was a few days before semester started and he along with a group of exceptional others have been accepted to the prestigious Beacon Academy. To train to become the huntsman and huntresses alike that all knew to be protectorates of the world. Just like his mother and father before him and so many others in his familial line.
To be fair though his semblance was a bit of a challenge to handle or even comphrened at first, as it has so many different and unique aspects in it tham most do. He still has yet to full realize it even. Instead of just one particular ability he has multifaceted ability. Hehas been training to use them since he was able to walk or could faintly remember. His Father was strict in training and with his mother gone... he scowled at the thought as it passed him by like the wind.
He never liked talking about her. Never usually getting into the past that much because of the painful memories it brought. Bad memories that he was burdened with, the only thing to remember her by was the necklace he had around his neck, him reaching up and caressing it with his thumb. It was her's of course and his father gave it to him as a reminder to keep moving forward.
Looking up he found the hotel he would be staying at for the night. A tall building with tannish color stone and the windows were painted a deep mohogany. It was grand in stature and ancient in design. None of that would particullay matter though. As tomorrow morning he'd be embarking on an airship to go to the academy and leave this place in the dust for his new home for the next four years.
Walking in through the shining glass doors, he went up to the clerk's desk, dropping his bags and ringing the bell. Accidently making a louder noise than intended, wincing as he did so.
"One second!", a lady said behind the counter in a side office, scuffing up to greet him.
"Hello young man. How may I help you today?", an older lady with the uniform of the hotel asked smiling
"Hi ma'am, my name is Conor Regan, I have a reservation for tonight." The young man said giving his best smile he could and handing his documents
"Ah a young man going to Beacon I assume?", she asked starting to type in the name and information to the scroll screen, the light of it reflecting off of her glasses with a dim brightness
"Yes ma'am, you would be correct in your assumption." He replied gracefully, hands clasped behind his back
"Yes, every year people from all around Remnant come here to stay for the night before their trip to Beacon Academy." She responded whilst typing away on the keypad and hearing a resolving sound came from it, she looked to him whilst reaching for a key
Swiping the card through the scanner and giving it to him, "Your room is on the 3rd floor, room 308, I hope you enjoy your night with us young man.", she said and as he started to turn away for the elevator she remembered and turned back quickly, "Sir?"
Conor turning to her once more, "Yes ma'am?"
"Would you be able to do me a kind favor?" She asked innocently with googly eyes, knowing he would
"Yes ma'am how can I help?" He said knowing he wouldn't refuse anyway and acknowledging she knew that as well
"A young lady in the room right beside your's left her lien card here by mistake about an hour ago. Would you be a kind gentleman and knock on her door to give it to her?"
