5:00 am Valefront Hotel

Waking up with a long and well stretched yawn, Conor reaches for the alarm and hits the snooze button for 5 more minutes. Knowing he set his alarm early for this very reason. One of the cruel punishments of life was waking up early. However, it was also one of the most rewarding he mused. He had to get back in the habit. No more sleeping in like his days of dilly-dallying.

Finally, the alarm went off once more and he proceeded to get out of bed. Scruffling with his brown, curls atop his head, he made his way into the bathroom and looks at himself in the mirror.

"Time for a jog.", he says to himself pulling his cheeks down, stretching his facial skin as he did so with sleepy eyes still present.he goes to his bag and grabs his chit and watch. Lacing up his shoes and putting on his worn gray hoodie, he goes to the front door. He turns on his headphones and listens to his daily news update podcast for the morning. VPR Morning Edition. It seemed to keep his mind occupied as they gave him the run down of what the worldwas experiencing and expecting today. Knowledge is power he mused.

His light jogging takes him all the way down to the docks as he passed multiple places of interest for him to visit later. Including some restraunts that he and his newly made friend could go to for more joyous occasions and some stores where he can get provisions for his dorm.

It was a windy city in the early dawn for sure as it blew against his face. He knew jogs would be cold here just like back home and he relished it. Nothing he wasn't used to and didn't mind. Winter where he was from was brutal for the people of Attica. His people were resilient because of the area's hardships. Still his friends and family thought him insane that he still went for runs in the damn cold. His will wasn't easily broken and his determination to succeed was tenfold. Or just stubbornness, his father called it.

Starting on his way back the yellow rays of the morning sun started to rise over, the light peeking over the horizon of the town with the sounds of birds now being heard. He always loved the view he got from these morning. Something most people didn't get to see. Then again they were sleeping so they were lucky themselves.

By the time he got back it had been about an hour since he had initially left. He looked across the street to conviently see a small café turning its sign, signifying their doors were open.

'Coffee and a hearty breakfast always sounds nice.', he thought

Walking in and purchasing his usual, the largest black of coffee he could buy with some big bowl of oats. Never could go wrong with the simple things. Looking at his watch at the register, it was time to move it. He needed to be on time.

Getting back into his room he set his food down and ate for a few minutes, watching the news while doing so. Quickly finishing up and then getting ready for the day with a hot shower. Getting out and drying his head with the usual 10 second scruffling of the towel, he then does his usual morning routine that he does every day in readying himself.

Adorning his garments and packing his things, he put his bags outside with their tags and only kept a small carry-on for himself. The rest would be sent up to Beacon via cargo ship like the rest of the students. Propping his door, he texted his last night friend.

"Conor: Hey, I'm ready to go whenever you are. My door is propped open so just come over.

Pyrrha: Alright, give me twenty minutes! I'll be right there :)"

Putting down his phone he put on his jacket and decided to take a seat for the time being. Zoning out he thought about the future. What it might hold for him, and where his path will take him during his next adventure. He actually even went deep enough he though about his belief in some form of destiny for himself.
