Soulmates Ch 2

Leo's pov

6 hours, 24 minutes and 43 seconds left till i finally meet my soulmate.It's 8:30 am which means I will meet my soulmate at approximately 2:30... I get up from my bunk bed in the Hephaestus cabin put on my usual clothes, white button up shirt, suspenders, beige trousers and my magic tool belt, I then go to the mirror and try to tame my mass of curly locks."Looking good" I say to myself confidently. I walk out only to be stopped by Nyssa, one of my siblings. You got a little something there she points to my neck and I notice I have a grease stain there. How could I have not seen this before? I think out loud.She rolls her eyes and then continues to lick her thumb and wipe the stain off my neck. Ewww I say wiping the spot with my shirt. You're welcome she yells to me while I run off to the dining pavilion to get a quick breakfast of oats and an apple. After quickly eating my breakfast due to excitement Chiron calls me to have a chat with him at the big house.

Once I get there, Chiron sits me down and offered me a cup of tea and some biscuits and tells me that there is a demigod, of one of the big three, that he wants me to go pick up.He explains that she is 18 years old and somehow has survived living it the mortal world. How? he is uncertain but soon all will be revealed, I wonder if this person could maybe be my soulmate. "Bye Chiron" I say as i get up to leave. "Wait" he calls out behind me, I turn around and he says I just thought you should know her name... It's y/n y/ln.

Ok I wasn't nervous before but I know she must be one badass chick to be able to survive 18 years in the mortal world by herself, she could easily kick my butt...

Anyways, after my little chat with Chiron, I started walking to bunker 9 to collect supplies for my journey.On they way there I spotted some girls. "Hey girls" I said "do you like raisins?" One of the girls replied, "Ummm that's a bit random but yeah I guess there ok." "I replied how about a date?"

"In your dreams repair boy, they both said in unison." I continued to walk to bunker 9 not affected by their turn down I'm used to it.

Once I got to bunker 9 I started to get together my supplies whilst also thinking about my journey ahead. Would Chiron allow me to bring two other demigods, Piper and Jason? I thought. Or maybe Annabeth and Percy?

I packed in my bag

-Some cubes of ambrosia

-Nectar

-A thick jacket (Because it was cold in Connecticut at the moment and that's where the demigod is) (aka you)

-A few sandwiches

-Spare clothes

- Water

After packing I decided i should take Percy and Annabeth on my quest, so I walked to the Poseidon cabin and knocked on the door. "Come in" Percy yells, I walk in to find Percy and Annabeth watching finding Nemo whilst Percy is hugging Annabeth tightly and saying nooo don't touch the butt, don't touch the butt.(finding Nemo reference)

" Ok then... sorry to interrupt guys ",

" it's ok" Annabeth says this movie was kinda boring me anyway. Percy gasped "how dare you insult finding Nemo, it's most definitely the best and most amazing movie ever to be created."

"Your such a seaweed brain" Annabeth replied and playfully smacked him on the shoulder. "Anyways Leo go on".

"I was just wondering if you guys wanted to come with me to pick up an important demigod in Connecticut."

"Oooooo Connecticut I've always wanted to go there" Percy said. Annabeth rolled her eyes, "so are you in?" I said to Annabeth. "Sure she replied anything to get away from this movie." Percy gasped again and shot her an offended look.

So we will be taking Festus I said and leaving in about half an hour I quickly glance down at my wrist and the clock says 4 hours, 30 mins and 12 seconds. "You guys ok with that?" "Yeah sure whatever" Percy says. "You have to leave right now Leo we are at a very important part of the movie".

"Ok bye", I said as I started to walk to the door I yelled behind me, "meet me at Thalia's tree at 11", Percy was staring at the screen intently and just kind of grunted in response. I'll take that as a yes I said and gave them one of my signature grins as I shut the door behind me.

I spent the half an hour trying to figure out what I was gonna say to my soulmate when we meet, I mean it's not like we can just go up to each other and kiss we'd just met...like what if she doesn't even like me what if she just turns me down...I couldn't just go dating someone else because, you see the thing is people only want to date their soulmates.

When the half an hour was up I started to walk to Thalia's tree already spotting Percy and Annabeth there, bickering as per usual. "Hey guys", I said, "Hey" they replied I saw they had already packed their bags so I called Festus with a whistle I had summoned from my tool belt. In a matter of minutes we spotted Festus, he gracefully glided down to us and halted to a stop.We jumped on, me sitting in the front so that I could steer with Annabeth behind me and Percy behind Annabeth. Festus started to take off and soon we were high in the sky staring at the beautiful horizon.
