Okay so Louis' technically four months pregnant now.
New Years rolled by, which meant Harry was to go back to work. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't excited to go back. Of course he loves his fiancé and his beautiful children, but taking care of them 24/7 was exhausting. He missed his office, he missed the constant smell of coffee and hearing heels click and phones ring all day.
His 6am alarm went off, waking Louis who was laying beside him. Louis clenched his eyes tightly shut and sighed. He didn't want Harry to go, he really didn't. He'd be so bored and stressed, and lonely. He rubbed his face slowly, wiping a tear that had unnoticeably fell down his cheek.
Harry kept a protective hand over Louis' four month grown belly, lifting his head off the pillow. He knew Louis was upset. "Good morning love" he whispered into Louis' neck.
Louis rolled his eyes, ignoring him.
"Baby I can't stay off work forever" Harry huffed.
Continuing to roll his eyes Louis whined "I'm just gonna miss you. We never see you when you're working".
Harry frowned, as much as he loved going to work, he loved his family more. "I know darling, but if you want nice things I gotta go to work".
"We already have nice things" Louis pouted, "and we have lots of money in our savings".
"Honey, please stop" Harry whispered, kissing Louis behind the ear. "I love you so much, we can cuddle after dinner and watch movies. I'll bathe the kids when I get home and put them to bed, okay?" Harry bribed.
"Fine, but I get to make what I want for dinner and no complaints" Louis warned.
"Yes honey" Harry chuckled, removing his hand from Louis baby bump and flipping over the sheets. As soon as Harry left the bed, Louis felt alone. He watched his boyfriend strip his pyjamas and put on his work clothes, classic black suit with a red tie.
"Babe" Louis asked from the bed.
"Hm" Harry hummed, tying his tie and slipping on his suit jacket.
Louis fiddled his thumbs, thinking about how he wanted to word his question, "I wanna get married".
Harry snickered, "are you proposing Tomlinson? Because I've already done that love, and if I'm not wrong, I'm almost positive you said yes".
Louis rolled his eyes for what felt like the hundredth time that morning, he huffed "Harry Edward! You know what I mean".
Harry chuckled, bending over and kissing Louis' forehead, "I've wanted to marry you for seven years, and I can wait seven more. Whenever you're ready, say the word" he whispered, resting his forehead on Louis'.
Tears were now sliding down Louis' cheeks, causing him to hiccup. "Why are you crying lovely" Harry asked worriedly.
There really wasn't anything wrong, Louis was just being a baby, "I just don't want you to go" he cried, cupping Harry's face. He felt pathetic crying for no reason; but then again he could later blame it on the baby hormones.
"I know angel, I know" Harry whispered, wiping a tear from his face. "I'm gonna go say goodbye to the kids, I'll see you tonight okay babe?".
Louis sniffled, and nodded.
"You pick the movie you want to watch tonight, I'll call you at lunch and you can tell me what snacks you want for tonight's cuddles, okay?" Harry smiled.
"Okay" Louis whispered. "You're lunch is on the counter".
Harry cooed over the pregnant boy. He loved him so much. "I'll call later" he kissed him again before going into Sages room.
