Today was Louis' first doctors appointment, and to say he was as nervous was an understatement. He sat inside his locked car shielding himself from the cold winter air, waiting to go into the doctors office. With his decaf coffee in one hand, and phone in the other he quietly sat humming to himself.

Millions of things were running through his head. His baby bump was abnormally large, and he was hoping he was carrying twins again. He looked down at his phone which read 2:45, only fifteen minutes to go. Louis sighed quietly, buttoning up his coat and stepping out of the car.

"Afternoon" he smiled tightly to the front secretary, while wiping his boots on the front mat .

"Oh Mr. Tomlinson!" she grinned. "How are you? How are the twins?"

Louis frequently brought the kids in to get check ups, and their yearly shots, so all the doctors and nurses remember him; considering things get wild every time he brings the crazy toddlers in.

Louis chuckled, "they're  good, very healthy" he smiled.

"Well that's wonderful, I'll get you all checked in".

Louis nodded, taking a seat. He decided to call his Lottie, who was currently at his home watching the kids.

"Hey Lots" he hummed, after she had picked up.

"Hey Lou, are you okay?"

"Yeah?" he paused. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well, you only left the house twenty minutes ago and you're already calling" she laughed. Louis smiled listening to Colton play in the background.

"Just passing time in the waiting room, don't worry" he chuckled. "The kids were so excited when I told them you were coming this morning"

"It's like they never see me" Lottie laughed.

Louis rolled his eyes, "yeah no", he paused. "If anything, they see you too much. You're always at my house mooching off me" he laughed.

"I'm a broke college student, obviously I'm going to eat my brothers food before going out and buying my own" she said sarcastically.

"Louis Tomlinson?" a nurse called. "Okay Lots, I gotta go. I'll text you when I'm on my way home, I may stop at the grocery store after I'm done here"

"Of course Lou, take you're time. Love ya" She sung.

"Love you too Lottie, thank you". He hung up the phone, quickly pushing it into his purse which was slung around his shoulder.

"How are you?" the nurse smiled, leading him back into the ultrasound room.

"Good, tired" he admitted, following her into the dark room.

"Well.." she looked down at her clipboard, "that's completely normal for being four months along" she said smiling. "If you just want to lay down here, Doctor O'Riley will be right with you" she hummed, walking out of the room.

Louis lied on the table, staring blankly at the table. He wished Harry was here. He wished he was holding his hand right now.

'Maybe I should FaceTime him, so he can see everything' Louis thought, but quickly shook the thought away.

No, Harry decided not to come.

"Hello Louis" Doctor O'Riley smiled, walking into the room and shutting the door tightly behind her. Louis loved Doctor O'Riley. She was so warm and friendly, and aside from being a doctor she and Louis would talk like they were life long friends. Not to mention, she did deliver both the twins.
