\\Dean's POV//

"Hey Sam, the mane's looking good today," I smirk at my brother, leaning on the door frame of his room.

"Shut up, Dean," he rolls his eyes and glares at me through his bangs. "What do you want?"

"Woah, woah, Sammy my boy. What has your panties in a twist?"

Again, my brother rolls his eyes. "Not in the mood, Dean. Do you need something or did you just come in here to annoy me?"

"I mean, I was kinda hoping you'd help me plan something for me and Cas's one year, but if you're too busy..."

"What, you're too macho to think of anything cute and romantic on your own?" At this point, I'm just staring at my brother, eyes wide with shock. Maybe Gabe pissed him off or something.

"I'll see myself out," I chuckle nervously, turning away with a backwards glance towards Sam. He just sighs and lays on his bed, facing the wall.

As soon as I'm back in safety of my own room, I unlock my phone and find Gabe's contact, pressing the little phone button. He picks up almost immediately.

"Dean? What's going on, how's things?"

"I'm assuming something right now but forgive me if I'm wrong. Did you do something to Sam?"

The line goes silent and I almost think he's hung up when I hear a long sigh. "No, I didn't do anything. It's just, you see, I've never really wanted to go to college. It's not my thing, y'know? Twelve years of school is plenty for me. But for Sam, as I'm sure you know, college is the only option, and he's pissed that I'd throw away my future like that. I tried to assure him I have a plan but he keeps saying I'm "wasting my potential" and shit like that. Long story short, we haven't talked in like, four days."

"Oh. Ohhh. Well good, I thought you cheated on him or something and nothing personal, but I was ready to kick your ass. Verbally and then physically."

"If I'm ever that stupid, I give you full permission to do just that."

I laugh, happy at my brother's choice in boys. "Anyway, I'd try talking to him. And if it helps, I'll talk to him too. He's really out of it, man, and I'm sure he'd be better if you guys talked it out. He'll get over it, I swear."

"Thanks, Dean. I'll talk to him."

"Good. Hey can I ask you a question?" I ask, thinking about my boyfriend.

"Sure, I got you."

"Do you know if there's anything Cas has never done but really wants to?"

Gabe pauses for a second, thinking. "I mean, he likes nature and we've never been camping, if that counts?"

"Yeah, that's perfect. Don't tell Cas about this, deal?"

"Yeah, yeah sure," he answers, laughing.

"Thanks, Gabriella. Don't forget to talk to Sam," I remind him, getting ready to hang up.

"I won't, thanks. Bye," I hit the red button but not before I hear him whisper, "Get some," followed by some snickering. Rolling my eyes, I slide my phone into my pocket and stride to my closet. Camping, huh?

\\Cas's POV//

I stare at the ceiling above me, lying on my bed, thoughts drifting to Dean. I wonder why he hasn't brought up anything about our one year. Maybe he's planning something.

I bolt upright.

Maybe he expects me to plan something.

Jumping to my feet, I fling my door open and shout my brother's name, hearing a loud groan from the living room.

"What, Cas?"

I run down the stairs, panting by the time I reach the landing. "Was," huff, "I," huff, "supposed to," huff, huff, "plan something?"

Gabe stares up at my red face, his mouth tilting into a smirk. "Breath, Cassie. What are you planning?"

"I don't know!" I cry, plopping down onto the couch. "It's our one year tomorrow and he hasn't said anything and I haven't said anything and neither of us are saying anything!"

Gabe glances sideways before answering, a small grin on his face. "It's probably fine, dude. Chillax."

"Have you talked to him?" I ask suspiciously, raising an eyebrow. He plays it off with a laugh

"No I haven't talked to your boyfriend. Maybe you should, though," he says playfully.

"Shut up," I grumble. "Seriously though, has he said anything to you?" This time, Gabe is less confident when he smiles and shakes his head no. "You're a liar. Great, this is great. Not only is my boyfriend not acknowledging our anniversary but now my own brother is keeping secrets from me."

"Tragic."

I throw a glare at him, stomping into the kitchen to grab a Poptart. I rip the silver packaging open, taking a swift bite.

"Take it easy there, tiger," Dean's voice reaches my ears and I turn in surprise.

"Dean? What're you doing here?"

"What, I can't visit my boyfriend once and a while?" he asks innocently, stepping closer and leaning in. I stand up on my toes to reach him but  he quickly snatches my Poptart and takes a bite, stepping away from me. I frown at him as he laughs, crumbs lining his lips.

"So, I heard a little rumor," he whispers, chewing the Poptart slowly. "I heard that you think I forgot our anniversary."

My cheeks flush and I smile sheepishly at him. "I mean- I don't-" My words trail off as I watch him lick the crumbs off his lips, his gaze boring into me. "I-"

"Come on, Cas," he chuckles, turning away and walking towards the door. "Let me show you how much I forgot."

A/N: HOLLA! So, yeah here's a quick update that I literally just wrote so I apologize if there's any mistakes. I was a bit premature when I said I'd definitely have an update ready by tonight, but nonetheless I whipped something up and I'll come back and finish it tomorrow night, I just need to go to bed. Also before someone says something like "There's no way its been a year!!1!1!!!!11", I know. The timeline for this story is so out of whack that I've literally given up at this point. Just go with it.

Goodnight hoes.
