JEWEL's POV

After the bell rang, the kids went out of the room to go home. I stayed at the room for a couple more minutes to arrange my stuffs and then went to the faculty room. The other teachers were preparing to go home already.

"Hey Jewel, do you want to come with us?" Lovely asked me when she came out of the teacher's toilet. She wasn't wearing her uniform anymore.

"Where?" I asked her curiously.

"To the mall. Helena and I are planning to go shopping since it's still early. She's going on a date on Friday night so she wants to buy something to wear" She said as she called for Helena who was talking to another teacher. 

When she heard Lovely calling for her, she approached us. I noticed that she wasn't wearing her uniform either.

"C'mon Jewel. You told us that you just moved in here right? You must come and explore the city with us then" Helena said enthusiastically.

"Sorry girls but I don't want to go out with my uniform on" I reasoned out which is the truth. I didn't have any change of clothes with me. Lovely rolled her eyes.

"Where do you live? We can drop by to your house so that you can change" She suggested. I heaved a sigh.

"Okay. My house is just 10 minutes by car from here. Let's go then" I said which made them giggled.

We were about to go out of the faculty room when I heard Mr. Rowland calling for me. He just came in.

"Are you going home now Ms. Morrison?" He asked me. His stares made me uncomfortable. I saw Helena and Lovely smiled to each other meaningfully.

"Yes. See you tomorrow" I answered politely and proceeded walking to the hallway with Helena and Lovely following me behind.

"Jewel, I think Mr. Rowland likes you" Helena teased me and I almost rolled my eyes of what she just said.

"Hello? We just met today and we just talked twice!" I cooed with a hint of sarcasm.

"Well, I noticed that too" Lovely interrupted and then they laughed together. 

I just ignored them and decided to just stay quiet. We were almost at the gate when my eyes suddenly caught someone sitting alone on the top of the slide. There were still a few children playing around, waiting for their parents or relative to pick them up.

"Can you wait for me for a second?" I asked Helen and Lovely but before they could answer me, I already turned my back to them and walked to the direction of Camila.

"Hey. Aren't you going home yet?" I asked her. She snapped her head to my direction and shook her head.

"Nanny hasn't arrived yet" She said. I noticed that she was now wearing the necklace but her uniform was hiding it. I was about to say something when she suddenly slid down the slide.

"Nanny is here" She said and ran to the gate. 

I heaved a sigh as I walked after her and saw that she went inside a sleek black car with her nanny. I don't know what's with me today feeling like this towards one of my students. If my baby's alive, they might be of the same age right now. Maybe she would be as healthy and beautiful as her.

I felt the familiar painful feeling in my heart as I remembered about my daughter. No! Don't go there!

"What did you say to her?" I heard Helena's curious voice behind me.
