James' POV.

6-James' POV💪
Me, Lee and Oll are at mine. We're really worried about Jake. We know briefly what's going on but not all the details. Kayleigh knows most. They're so close and always have been, they're like lovers, I personally think they should get together. I understand it's tough now and why they wouldn't be together due to the circumstances, but they should be together in future. Us 3 are sat on the park near his, where we usually hang out after school quite often just sitting talking about him and thinking about going to see him..but, would he want that? "I'm so worried for Jake, I feel like I'm not helping him and that I should be helping him. We've known each other a while now and we normally talk about anything to each other!" I tell the others. "Yeah I agree. To be fair, I've only known him for a few years but we normally tell each other everything. But the last month or two, he's kept himself to himself" Ollie admits. "Yeah, I've noticed the same!" Lee also agrees and carries on, "Should, I try and ring him? See if he want to talk with us all coz he's blanked me for almost a whole month?" I agree it's the right decision. The second Lee starts his sentence, I get a call. It's Kayleigh! Maybe it's about Jake! "It's Kayleigh!" I say in surprise. They alert and I put her on loudspeaker. She asked could I come round so I say I'll be round within 10 minutes with Oll and Lee as with us being sat worried anyways. We hear Jake crying and breathing heavy in the background so we head round quickly. We're round almost immediately and Ollie knocks. We see Jake look out his window. He's seriously not himself you can tell already. His hair is not done, his face drawn, eyes red? Kayleigh opens the door and let's us in hugging us all individually. Jakes in his living room. "How is he?" I whisper. "He's in shock coz you're all here but I'll help him tell you all what's going on. Don't say nothing yet, I'll get him to talk. He's in there just getting over a panic attack, stay calm I've got this" she whispers and then opens the living room door where Jake is sat breathing unsteadily, she goes over and sits next to him rubbing his back. "That's it just stay calm and keep breathing" she reassures him as he looks panicked with teary eyes as he looks at me. A tear escapes mine seeing my bestfriend this way. Us 3 slump on the couch opposite Kay and Jake. It takes a good five minutes for Jake to go back to normal. "I'm just getting Jake a drink, won't be a minute" Kayleigh says standing up. Jake grabs her arm with tears in his eyes making his eyes gloss in the light. "I'll be back in a few secs" she says as he grabs her jumper tighter, "you're fine, I promise you" she says stroking his hair with her free hand. He just curls up, knees to his chest, anxious of his surroundings. He's in a state. I look at Lee who's trying to hold his tears back, Ollie seems okay and is just on his phone probably to distract him. Jake buries his head in his knees. Lee whispers so Jake doesn't hear "it hurts seeing him like this! He's suffering so bad. He can't even sit in the same room happy with his mates" Me and Ollie agree and we all wipe our tears away whilst the chance is there. Jake briskly runs into his hallway. Kayleigh walks in seeing us all teary. "Honestly guys feel free, I've been in tears myself seeing him like this. Just bare with me, think he's clung to the banister shaking and won't come in. I'll just be a minute and carry him if I need to!" She joked of course. Silence floods the room but we hear their conversation. Come on Jake, they've come to see you because they're concerned about you" we start crying because of how he is. "I don't w-want them see me like t-this, it's embarrassing" he cries. Kayleigh walks in with him holding his hand and supporting him closing the door behind her and sitting him down. We all just weakly smile at Jake. He looks at us teary.
