Peyton shifted on the couch, still smiling. Gerard was relaxing in a purple sweatshirt and black leggings, playing with Peyton's hair with her head in his lap. They watched the romantic comedy contently, their breathing slow and their heartbeats relaxed.
"I don't even know what they're saying." Gerard said.
Peyton giggled, and then blushed as a sex scene came on. She buried her face in his thigh, not wanting to watch it. Sex never really made her uncomfortable, but it certainly wasn't something she wanted to watch with Gerard.
Gerard chuckled, watching her squirm with embarrassment. "What is this about?" Gerard asked.
"Romance." Peyton replied in English.
Gerard cocked his head in confusion. Peyton sat up, straddling him and cupping his cheeks. His breath hitched from being in this position. It was so intimate. She pressed her forehead to his, pushing the idea of romance into his head.
He pulled away before she could really solidify it. "Don't!" He cried.
Peyton's eyes pulsed with pain. "I'm okay." She replied. She solidified the idea before he could answer.
He looked up at her, smiling gently. He was so worried about her, but she seemed fine. "Romance." He said, his voice coated in an endearing accent.
Peyton nodded, staying in his lap. Gerard played with her beautiful blue hair, smiling gently.
"Beautiful." He said.
She blushed deeply, looking away. "I'm not." She murmured.
Gerard brushed some hair out of her eyes. "You are." He murmured.
She didn't say anything else, she just kissed his forehead and nodded. She didn't quite believe him, but the idea of her own beauty was solidifying in her head, no telepathy required.

Gerard felt Peyton shake his shoulder. It must have been early in the morning, because it was dark and Gerard was so tired. He had half a mind to shove her away and fall back asleep. Instead he sat up, smiling at how excited she looked. Her hair was pulled back in a sloppy ponytail, her cheeks flushed.
Peyton smiled. "I need to show you something." She whispered.
Gerard sat up, following her outside and onto the roof of her house. She sat next to him, kissing his forehead. He leaned into her touch, enjoying it immensely. Her lips were a bit cold, he would have no problem warming them up.
"What is it?" He asked.
She pointed at the slowly rising sun. Gerard gasped a little as the sun painted the sky shades of his favorite colors. He didn't know the name, but he didn't need to. The colors were more special without a name. Like his own special, inside thing. He had a private way of identifying them. He looked at Peyton, his eyes sparkling.
"Beautiful." He said, smiling so wide. His small, crooked teeth showed, making him look utterly boyish.
She smiled, meeting him in the middle with her lips. He cupped her cheeks. He pulled away quickly, turning his attention back to the sunrise. Peyton smiled, watching him. He obviously hadn't seen a sunrise as often as she had. She sifted through his mind, only finding one memory of it. It was brief, and nothing like this.
A sunrise wasn't anything special to her usually, but right now, it was magical to her. He pulled her into his lap, no longer afraid to touch her. She pressed her lips to his neck gently. He blushed, still watching the sunrise. She wasn't trying to be sexual, this was obvious. The gesture made him blush nonetheless. She pushed a few words into his head when he wasn't looking.
Sunrise.
Fuchsia.
Tangerine.
Bright.
Morning.Gerard gasped, looking at her. She blushed a little. She winced a little from the searing pain in her head, but she was almost used to it by now. Gerard touched her hair, cocking his head. "Blue." She said.
Gerard grins happily at the new word. She smiles, pointing at things and teaching him colors. She would push them into his head, but she was in too much pain for that. Their legs were tangled together for warmth, noses rubbing against each other's occasionally.
"Let's go inside." She murmured.
Gerard nodded, "Okay." he said in that adorable accent of his.

Gerard wrapped his arms around Peyton's waist, resting his chin on the top of her head. She smiled, leaning back against him as she stirred the chocolate pudding on the stove.
"Hello." She murmured. A word he recognized. A greeting his mentor had taught him during his training.
He smiled, "Hello." he replied.
She poured the finished product into a bowl, wrapping it up and putting it in the fridge. Gerard pulled her over to the couch. She laid down with him.
"Amazing." He murmured.
She looked up at him, her eyes sparkling. "What is?" She asked.
He waved his hand around, motioning to everything. "This." He said.
She smiled. "Yes, it is." She said.
She snuggled into his chest. No words were exchanged because the writer was too fucking lazy to write any, mostly because she's on her phone writing this.
They fell asleep on the couch, their breathing the only sound that could be heard.
