Danny's POV

I was nervous. Not only was I about to go on a date with my old crush's exgirlfriend, but she just happens to probably hate me. I mean, sure I'm a vamp, she's a vamp, but we're not exactly a match made in heaven.

"Let's go Xena." Carmilla said and I glared at her. "Sorry, Danny."

"Alright, fang face." I said without apologizing. Sure I was also a vampire, but the teasing was kind of fun and almost impossible not to do.

"You're a vampire too." She muttered and we walked to a place to grab some blood that I'd had someone deliver for me. Once I'd gotten the blood, we went to my apartment and started on a bottle of champagne. "This is actually nice."

"Yeah, I guess it is." I said and we fell back into a not-so-friendly banter which evolved into a fistfight and then a make out session. Sure this relationship seems toxic, but how healthy can a relationship between two vampires be?
