Is what reads on the 1st page of my history textbook. Same as everyone else in the world. Underwater, on land, or in the air, there was no exception. Except for the humans, they were the only ones spared their "innocence". As if they ever had any.

Every fantastic being has an opinion on humans for reasons that vary but can all be simplified to that small paragraph.

My name is Anita Spirit. I am writing this journal, along with my 2 unblood sisters Miranda Chasbury and Periwinkle Forrest, as well as others whom wish not to be introduced in my introductory page.

This is what the history textbooks left out about that war that saved, changed and destroyed everything.

Mira nodded as she finished reading the 1st page from over my shoulder.

"It's great Anna! Everyone is going to go crazy over it!" Mira said with great approval and joy in her melodic voice. Before Anna could turn the ink permanent however, Peri intervened.

"Making everyone crazy isn't the goal. Our goal is to show that our textbooks don't portray the lives of the heroes whom fought bravely and selflessly in the war properly." Mira rolled her eyes.

"It was a figure of speech Winie. I meant that everyone is going to get mind swiped from the facts! Can you yourself even believe it? Even now?"

Peri huffed "I hate when you call me Winie! And yes I can! My grand papa lost his life before my very eyes, and I still can't get his expression to leave me alone" she said, rattled that Mira would suggest that she wasn't paying attention during the summons back to the war.

Anita was looking at Peri as if she was going to collapse any second and Mira had to bite back her urge to smash in their skulls. How dare Periwinkle accuse her of only caring about popularity and wanting attention after what she had been through! How dare Anita for siding with her! Mira lost someone she loved as well, and it hurt to think back on the moment just as much. The only difference between Perri and Mira right now was that Mira was strong, and didn't show weakness for something as trivial as comfort and empathy.

Anita looked at how Mira glared at Peri, and how scared and frightened Peri was looking at her scar that covered Peri's right arm. Anna knew she probably looked just as insane and weak, but she could not help it anymore than Peri and Mira could. She was as affected as the rest of them, but she knew expressing her grief would do nothing to help the growing tear between the 3 friends, but on add to the rip. It seemed nowadays everything that happened caused a tear in their friendship. To think that this trio used to be closer than telepathic triplets was unthinkable at this stage in their relationship. Anna couldn't help but contribute to the tearing down of their bond as well, so she was no saint.

The 3 girls each knew that their friendship was toppling before their very eyes, and could only hope this journal would reunite the 3 friends, over their shared and unshared experience with the war. For the 3 knew what lay ahead of them if they did not rely on each other. But it currently seemed as if no one was strong enough to pull the three back together again.
