Alex walked into school the next day in a hoodie with his hood up. Granted, he wouldn't be able to keep it up without getting screamed at by teachers but he needed to hide his bloodshot eyes that would most definitely give him unwanted attention. He was already labeled as the weird kid who's own brother didn't want to stay with him.
Alex inhaled a few shaky breaths before registering at the reception area and heading to the cafeteria to get some grapes, because he really likes grapes.
As he was heading to the cafeteria he accidentally walked into the back of someone. Stumbling backwards, he looked up and saw that it was Zack Merrick - that kid...Jack's friend. Alex quickly apologised and ran off, mainly because Zack could totally snap him in half.
Little did he know that running would be the worst mistake he had made in a while
