Noreen's Point of View:

Mr. Thredson closes the door.

"Please Noreen, come sit." He says, gesturing to the chair across from his desk. I sit down, I don't know what would happen if I didn't. "How was your first day at Cardinal?" He asks.

"Fine."

"Good, very good. Anyways, I wanted to apologize for this morning. I don't know how it happened." He said, reaching across the desk for my hand. I quickly move it out of his reach. He smiles an evil grin and I run from the room. I continue to run all the way home, it was only a ten minute walk anyway. I run through the door and slam it shut. I lean my back against the door and slide down into sitting position.

"Noreen!" I hear a familiar voice say. I look up and see my aunt Lana. Aunt Lana is the best aunt ever. I stand up and run into a hug with her, sobbing."Noreen, what's wrong?"

I tell my aunt about Mr. Oliver Thredson and she gasps. "No no no no no no no! He cannot be your teacher! This is terrible. Oliver is a horrible person!" She says.

"Aunt Lana, what are you talking about?" I ask, confused about how she knows him.

"A long time ago, I was put in Briar Cliff because of being gay and I visited a psychiatrist. And his name was Oliver Thredson, and by the way that you described him, I think that he is the same man." She explained. "You see, one day he snuck me out of the Asylum and took me home. I was horrified by his apartment.

-Lana's FLASHBACK-

"I entered Dr. Thredson's apartment. All seemed normal at first, until I went looking for the bathroom, but stumbled into a room so truly terrifying that it still haunts me. There was human skin hanging everywhere. 'I see you found my little...hobby.' Oliver said. 'You make furniture.' I said, frightened for my life. 'Lampshades, mostly' he stated. 'Really? What material do you use?' I asked. 'Skin' he says and pulls a lever that opened a door that I was standing on."

-Flashback over-

"I thought I wouldn't make it, but one day I escaped. I returned to the Asylum and they claimed that I was 'cured'." Aunt Lana says, scowling.

"Oh my god, my social studies teacher is a murderer, and a rapist." I scream, sobbing.

"Noreen, you must stay as far away from this man as possible!" Lana says. "I'm going to your school tomorrow and confronting him!"

"Lana, are you sure that's smart?" I ask, worried that history would repeat itself.

"Yes, I have to be sure that you're safe." She says. "Oh, and by the way, your mom went on a business trip so I'll be here for a while!" She says. Spending time with Aunt Lana was always fun.
