Guilt ✹ Tracob

The party went on for a couple more hours, until our guests were tired and started to leave. Jacob cleaned up the dishes, leaving me to rest. When he was done, we went to our bedroom.

"That was an interesting party.." Jacob giggled, removing his shirt and changing into his pyjama pants.

"I'm glad it all worked out for them," I smiled. "They found love.... and I found love.." I wrapped my arms around Jacob's waist, kissing him. He picked me up, wrapping my legs around his body.

"I love you so much.." He kissed my neck.

The next morning, I was unbelievably sore, not wanting to move.... for multiple reasons. Jacob laid next to me, his arm laying over my body, his hand on my chest.

"Good morning, gorgeous.." He whispered.

"Good morning..." I blushed, turning to kiss him.

"I didn't hurt you too bad, did I?" Jacob teased. "Not bad enough to skip out on breakfast, right?"

"I'm fine.." I smiled. "It was so worth it.."

"Breakfast?" He smiled back, and I nodded.

After he left to go get our breakfast, I turned the television on, and grabbed my phone.

Kayla: Hey baby!

Hey Kayla! I miss you so much..

Kayla: Well, go downstairs..

Wait... how'd you know I was upstairs?

Kayla: Well, you just told me lol

Kayla....

Kayla: Troye....

I got dressed and went downstairs to find Kayla helping Jacob cook breakfast.

"Kayla!" I hugged her.

"I thought I'd surprise you.." Jacob said, kissing me on the cheek. "I flew her and Kerri out here..."

"Wait... Kerri's here, too?" I asked. "Jacob..." I gave him a hug. "Thank you so much.."

"Excuse me? Where's my hug?" Kerri said, giggling. I gave her a hug, giggling with her.

"Kerri.. Jacob... Jacob.. Kerri.." I introduced them.

"So this is the man who flew us out here?" Kerri asked. "Thanks.."

"No problem.." Jacob smiled. "Okay, it's time to eat. We're taking the girls out shopping, and then out to dinner tonight.."

"It's going to be a very classy restaurant, so we're getting some fancy clothes.." Kerri said.

"Babe, you would look gorgeous in this.." Jacob blushed, handing me hanger.

"I'll try it on.." I smiled. The girls were trying on dresses, and came out of the dressing rooms.

"How do we look?" Kayla asked.

"You look beautiful.." Jacob said.

"Stunning.." I smiled. "I think those are perfect."

"Okay, we'll get these!" Kerri giggled. I tried on the clothes Jacob picked out for me, and he found a similar set for himself.

"Wow.." He said when I walked out of the dressing room. "Just.... wow..."

"You look great.." I blushed. "Are we ready?"

"Yeah.." Jacob smiled. "Let's change, and go check out.."

We went home for a few hours before getting ready for dinner. Kerri said she was doing her hair, but Kayla and I were already ready.

"It's been so long since I last saw you.." Kayla said. "How have you been?"

"I'm great.." I smiled. "I do sometimes miss Australia, but it's really just the people there I miss.. Jacob and I are very happy here."

"I'm glad.." She smiled. "I know it hasn't been the easiest past years, after the drama between you two, but when Jacob called me to set up this trip.... He said you were the love of his life.."

"Really?" I blushed.

"He's obsessed with you. You're his one and only.." She said. "I really hope you guys stay together forever... as much as I'd love to steal you and take you back home with me... you and Jacob are amazing together, and I've never seen you happier. After... Connor... and Tyler... I was scared you'd be discouraged.. But you found Jacob.."

"No.." I said.

"No?"

"I didn't find Jacob. Jacob found me... and he saved me.." I blushed. "He's the one..." Kayla smiled.

Once everyone was ready to leave, Jacob wrapped his arm around my waist as we all walked out to Jacob's car. He held my hand as he drove us to the restaurant, and the girls sat in the backseat, smiling uncontrollably. I didn't think anything of it.

He parked the car, and opened our doors to let us out, like the perfect gentleman.

"Reservations for Bixenman.." Jacob said to the hostess.

"Right this way.." She smiled, and led us to our table. A waitress came over to get us drinks, and we decided what we would eat whilst sipping champagne.

"This place is amazing, Jacob!" Kerri said. "You didn't tell us we were going to such a fancy place..."

"I said it was fancy.." He smiled. "I'd do anything for my amazing man... and my new best friends.." Jacob wrapped an arm around me, and I blushed.

"You're so precious.." I giggled. After our meal, we all sat at our table, sipping more champagne, when the waitress came over to us.

"Would you like dessert?" She asked.

"The usual.." Jacob said, and she walked away to get it.

"You've been here?" I asked.

"My dad used to.... He used to get it every time he came here with Mom, before she became ill..." He said.

"Wow.." Kayla said.

"I'll be right back, okay?" I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, then headed to the restroom.

When I came back, it was as if I was walking into wonderland. The lights were dimmed, and candles were lit. Rose petals were scattered on the floor, and the only person standing in my view was Jacob.

"Jacob?" I said.

"Come here.." He smiled. I walked to him, and he took my hands. Music started playing softly, and I knew something was about to happen. Jacob was always a helpless romantic. "Since the day I met you.... I knew I had to be with you. You're the best thing that has every happened to me, and I had thought I lost you for good when we broke up. But.... you're standing in front of me.... in my hometown.... on the most perfect night..." Jacob started to tear up.

"Jacob.... what are you doing?" I felt my eyes start to water.
