*BROOKLYN'S POV*

It's Friday night and I am currently staring at the ceiling. I should be out with my "friends," except I dropped them all for my new friends.

I can't stop thinking about Louis. Looking into his eyes made me melt inside. All I could see was all the happy memories we used to have together.

I think I still have feelings for him, but I can't let him back into my life that easily. Well I kind of did, but I didn't forgive him yet! He really does seem sorry about everything though. I realy do believe him.

The sound from my phone snapped me out of my thoughts. It was a text from Niall.

Hey, just wondering if you were busy tonight. Are you? :)

*Nope. I'm just chilling at home!*

Do you want to do something? Maybe catch a movie?

A movie with Niall? Eh, better than staying at home alone. Maria went home for the weekend a while ago, so it's just me.

*Sure! You can pick me up now if you want :)*

I texted him my address and went to go freshen up. I'm already wearing a sweater and some jeans, but it's probably a little chilly outside now since it's night time. I grabbed a scarf and a coat and a pair of combat boots and waited for Niall.

The doorbell rang and I jogged down the stairs to open the door. Niall was dressed in a grey sweater with some black jeans. He smiled at me and started to speak.

"You look nice. Are you ready to go?"

I nodded and stepped out the door. I locked it and followed Niall to his car. He drove a really nice Mustang that really fit him. It was black and really sleek.

He opened the door for me and jogged to the driver's seat. Once he closed his door, he started the car.

"You look nice today, by the way," he said to me. I giggled and thanked him.

Niall took me to go see some horror film. I'm not a huge fan of them, but I was excited.

"If you get scared, I'll hold you, okay?" he said to me. I nodded and waited for the movie to start.

Towards the middle of the movie, I felt him put his arm around me. It felt a little awkward to me, yet I didn't take it off. I just left it there and kept my focus on the movie.

Then my mind started to wonder off. I started thinking about Louis, wondering about what he was up to tonight. Maybe I should've hung out with him instead...

And lately, I've been telling myself that I don't like him anymore, but I still do. When we were at his house and almost kissed, I really wished his mom didn't interrupt us.

"Brooklyn? The movie's over, c'mon let's go." I heard Niall say to me.

"Oh, what?" I asked confused.

"The movie's over. It's getting late, I need to take you home."

We got out of our seats and walked to his car. The car ride was quiet, even with the radio turned on.

Finally I was back at my house. Niall told me he had a great time with me, and I thanked him for taking me out.

"Maybe we should go out another time?" he asked me.

"Yeah, maybe," I said. I smiled and waved goodbye to Niall as I stepped inside my house. I immediately went to my room and called Louis.

It's strange how I still have his number after all these years. He probably thinks I deleted it. I wonder if he still has mine?

I dialed his number and he answered on the second ring.

"Hello?"

"Louis? It's me, Brooklyn. You sound tired, did I wake you up?" I asked feeling a little guilty.

"No, I haven't gone to bed yet. But I am tired. Are you okay?" he asked me.

"Yeah, I just came back from the movies. Just wanted to call you." Why is this so awkward for me? Talking to Louis over the phone used to feel so normal, and now it's not.

"Oh, oh okay. Wait, you still have my number?" he asked.

"Yeah," I felt myself blush. "I never deleted it."

"I never deleted yours either." A smile crept onto my face once he said that.

Louis and I spent about 2 hours talking on the phone. I didn't realize it was already 1 in the morning once we finished talking.

"So yeah, I'll be over at your house to work on the project. We only have one week left and I want to finish it as soon as possible!"

"Louis relax, we can do this! Now go to sleep, it's really late."

"Okay, okay. Goodnight Brooklyn."

"Goodnight Louis."

And that was that. It felt so nice talking to Louis on the phone like that. His voice was so raspy and sleepy.

But poor Niall, he probably likes me. I still do really like Louis, and I want him to know that. I just have to let him know before it's too late.
