"Best Friends" (a Nick Mara story)

Chapter Three

*Adrianna's pov*

It was the coldest day, and February just started. It was Friday so I decided to wear something comfy. I wore gray sweatpants, black tank top and a matching gray sweatshirt, and purple uggs. Nothing special. I walked to school by myself, surprisingly, Nick didn't wait for me today.

I got to school and Mikey was at the door. "Hey Ad" He said and smiled and hugged me. "Hey spikes!" I said "Where's Nick?" I asked him and he shrugged. "I saw him by the boys' bathroom a few minutes ago." He said and smiled at me.

I walked to the boys' bathroom and there was no one outside of the bathroom. I pulled out my phone and went to his contact to text him. But before I can do anything, he came out of the bathroom, messy hair, and re-buttoning his top shirt button. A blonde haired girl followed him out of the BOYS' bathroom. She was giggling and fixing her messy hair. I rolled my eyes as I watched them.

"Man whore..." I said under my breathe, but I shouldn't be talking.. because.. well you know. He turned to her and placed his arm on her hips and pulled her close. He placed the other hand on her cheek and smashed his lips with her. This doesn't surprise me though. He "hooks up" with almost every girl in our grade and I wouldn't be surprised if he got mano either.

After he finished sucking on her face, he turned around and started walking towards me. "Hey Ad" He said and hugged me. "Hey Nick" I said and smiled. "Why didn't you wait for me today you dick?" I said and playfully punched him on his shoulder. "Ouch and I had to-" "Fuck with the random girl?" I said and let a chuckle escape my lips. "We didn't fuck," He said as we both started walking to the gymnasium. "But we were close." He said and winked. "Ew! I don't want to know!" I said and we both laughed.

"Everyone please report to the auditorium please. Please report to the auditorium." The voice on the speaker said. "Shall we?" He said and put out his arm to I can link my arm with his. "We shall" I said and we both started skipping to the auditorium like two little 5-year-olds. We were laughed and then we saw Luke and Madison waiting for us by the door. "Hey guys" Madison said. "Hey!" Nick said. "Ready to go in beautiful?" Luke asked me and i nodded and gave him a peck on the cheek. We intertwined our heads and walked inside with Nick and Madison walking behind us.

We got out and the all thing was because we were having an open house tomorrow and they told us to try to act "good". Ha! Yeah right. Before I knew it, the school day ended. And I was by my locker packing my books for homework. I heard Nick coming to me because I heard his loud mouth. "Ad!" He said, dragging the 'd'. "Sup" I said without looking at him. "I missed you soo much!" He said and placed his arm around my shoulders. "You know I'm not the blonde girl from earlier right?" I said and laughed. "I know that!" He said and turned me around to face him. "You are beautiful," He said and placed one hand on my face. "You know that right?" He said and I just smiled and he started to lean in. Our lips touched and I felt the sparks again. "Adrianna?" That voice. That voice I heard before. It was Luke. I quickly pulled Nick away from me and turned and faced Luke.

"Luke?" I said and he had tears in his eyes. He just shook his head and speed walked out of the double doors from school. I turned by to nick and shook my head. "Adrianna I-" H esatarted saying but I cutt him off. "Nick don't. Just don't talk to me ever again." I said and started running in the direction Luke just went....
