The Start Of It All (Flashback)

"Mom are you drinking again?" Asked Emma as she heard the clink of glass bottles from the kitchen, "You know it's not good for you"

"I can't help it" replied her mom from the kitchen

"Mom please just stop"

"I'll try my best to" said her mom as she walked into the living room. Emma's mom was a slim figure compleat with baby blue eyes and extremely white teeth. Her personality attracted Emma's father, Jett McKenzie, and they had two kids before they divorced. John and Emma. They were born 7 years apart and on the same day. Haden had always looked up to her brother but now that he's in high school she doesn't see him much because of all the

extracurriculars he's in. He's at band at the moment and Emma was alone with their mom and she caught her drinking again.

"Mom you can ask any doctor and you know they will tell you to stop drinking!" Emma argued as she got out her acoustic guitar. It was the only instrament she could actually play without getting a headach. She was also extreamly good at it. Sungha Jung was her role model and she made it her goal to learn all of his songs. She was the only one in the family that could play a instrament.

"Do you think mom will be ok Amber" Asked Emma as she petted her cat and as if a response Amber jumped onto the window cell and stared up at the sky. "I think so too Amber, I think so too"
