The UCO chp. 10
By morning they had made it half way down the river. Misty got out of the river and everyone else followed. "Why are we stopping?" Asked Ian. "We need to get more food, we pretty much ate ourselves dry." She looked around to see the surroundings and stopped when she saw a empty house away from the the town. So far away in fact that it was on the opposite side of the river.
"Let's check that place out first." She said as she pointed to the house.

They crossed back over the river and headed towards the house for half a mile. Misty slowly opened the old wooden door and shivered as the door creaked an eerie creek.

She walked in and found the kitchen quite easily. She quickly opened the fridge and stuffed the food in her bag. She wanted to get out of that place as quickly as possible, something wasn't right.

"Uh, Misty, you might want to come look at this." Quivered Scarlets voice. She quickly walked over to them and stopped dead in her tracks when she saw what Scarlet was pointing at. Her heart stopped as she looked at the jars on top of jars, each holding a scorpion in it.
"G-guys we sh-should get out of here." She stuttered as she slowly backed away. Oof! She moaned as she backed into a big, squishy object. She watched in horror as her friends eyes grew wider and wider. Scarlet and misty slowly pulled out their daggers. The big man laughed menacingly as Misty jumped away and abruptly stopped when he saw her face.
"How did little girl survive scorpion?" He asked in a thick, Russian accent. Before Misty could even get a sound out he roughly grabbed her wrist and yanked her towards him
"How did little girl survive scorpion!" He yelled
"I- I killed it." Misty stuttered. The big man gave a look of approval.

The man looked down at Misty's hand and saw the dagger and started laughing again.
"Come." Said the man. He let go of her wrist and started walking down the hallway. Misty looked at her friends and, with a weary smile, motioned for them to follow. As they walked down the hall they passed a door that was wide open. One after the other each peeked in there as they walked by and saw torture chambers.
"We shouldn't be here." Whispered Violet
"We don't really have a choice." Misty whispered back. The man was ahead of them and waiting at the last door in the hallway. When they caught up to him he opened a door and to their surprise it was a weaponry room accompanied with a training center.
"What's this?" Asked Scarlet
"Train center." He said and turned around and looked at them.
"Take what little girl and friends need."
"Th-thank you very much." She said as they all filed in.
