You're My Everything..

(Lilly's POV)

I watch as the put him on a stretcher, I follow them out, my heart beating out of my chest. "Family only." The one Paramedic says. "I'm his fucking wife, move." I day stepping on, tears streaming down my face. "Lilly, I'm fine.." Dan says and I frown. "You were shot.." I say, and he reaches for my hand, squeezing it. "I'll be okay. I'll stay strong for you and Tray. I promise." He says which only made me cry harder. I see the paramedics attaching all types of wires to him, which scared me more. "Hey, Lilly, just, look at me, Love. Don't pay attention to all that." He says, and just nod, trying not to burst out into tears.

"You look so, so pale." I say and he chuckles. "I am white." He says and I couldn't help but smile, despite the tears streaming down my face. "Paler than normal." I explain and he shrugs. Once we get to the hospital, they rush Dan in, and tell me I have to stay in the waiting room. I sit in a chair, and put my head in my hands, and let the tears flow. Small sobs escaping my mouth. Why? Why did this have to happen to him. I can't loose him.. No. Not now. "Mummy!" I hear a familiar voice say, and I look up to see Tray running towards me, two policemen, were standing by the door, and gave a small wave before walking out.

I pull Tray into a hug, sighing. "Where's Daddy?" He asks and I pull away, and look at Tray. He looked so much like Dan. "Daddy, he got hurt. So the Doctors are helping him." I explain and he nods. "Okay!" He says and I nod. I don't wanna tell him what happened unless I absolutely have to. Tray's smart for his age, and I know he'll know that getting shot i the chest is not a good thing. I could feel tears swell in my eyes, and hurriedly wipe them away. "Mummy? Do you need a hug?" He asks and I look up, and Tray wraps his tiny arms around me as much as he could.

I pick him up, placing him on my knee, and wrapping him in a hug. "Is Daddy gonna go to heaven?" He asks and I feel my heart stop for a second. "Daddy's okay. He's staying with us." I say rubbing his back.  Trying as hard as I could not to let tears run down my face, but I eventually let them, they ran like streams down my face, and collided with the floor. "Why are you crying then?" He asks and I sniffle and wipe my eyes, and pull away, looking at Tray.

"Daddy got hurt. It saddened me, because I don't like when he's hurt." I explain as best I could. "I don't either.." He says with a frown, and I kiss his forehead and nod. "He's Alright though. That's all that matters." I say and he nods with a smile. Tray yawns, and looks up at me. "I'm tired Mummy." He says and I sigh. "Do you wanna put two of the chairs and put them together to lay on until we get back to the hotel." I ask and he nods.

I help him put two of the chairs together, and he lays across it, automatically falling asleep. Poor Baby.. I fell so bad for him. I'm praying and hoping that Dan makes it through surgery, and everything. I can't live without him, and I don't think Tray could either. And if I am pregnant, I don't want the baby to be born, not knowing his or her father. Suddenly I'm napped out of my thoughts when I hear someone say my name. "Are You Lilly Middleton?" A guy asks. "Yes.." I say cautiously.

"I'm Detective James. I need to ask you a few questions about you being kidnapped? Could we step outside? It'll only be five minutes." He explains. "I can't." I say looking over at Tray, whom was still sound asleep. "You can ask me in here." I say looking at him. "You can bring the child." He says and I sigh. "I'm not leaving this stop till I know my husband is alive and well." I say and he nods, sitting beside me. "Okay, So the guy who kidnapped you, also known as Collin Dickson, Claims that you guys were together? Is this true." He asks and I shake my head.

"He took me against my will and told me he'll 'make me love him' which was not happening." I say and he nods writing something down. "Has he caused harm to you in any way? As in starving you, cutting you, anything along those lines." He asks me and I nod. "He tried to stab me, because he thought I was pregnant and wanted the baby to be gone. And he cut me here." I say showing him the x that he made over Dan's initials.

"He didn't try to starve me, I just wouldn't eat. I was afraid he'd drug me." I explain and he nods and continues to write. I could feel tears sweeping in my eyes as I think back on it. "He would also turn off the lights, even though being in the dark gives me bad Anxiety." I say, the thoughts hurting me head. He nods and continues to write. "That's all for now." He says and stands up, leaving. I let the tears slowly stream down my face. "Please.. Please be okay.." I mumble looking at the ring on my finger.

"Please." I put my head in my hands, and let out a small sob. "I need you.." I mumble again. I glance over at Tray, and sigh. Maybe I should get some rest too? I mean its been a couple of hours but who knows when I'll actually be able to go see him. A lady walks by and gives me a sad look. Probably because I looked pathetic right now. I don't care. "Daniel Middleton?" I Lady calls out and I jump out of my seat.
