(Dan's POV)

After the police questioned me, the took my phone to track to her number. I take my spare phone with me, and get in my car, and follow to where it says. The police are taking way too long with this. I'll get her myself. I sped the whole way there, not caring about speed limits. My wife is more important. For all we know he could be killing her, and they're just sitting around, in no rush.

Once I get in front of the house, I sigh in frustration. He has like a 10 ft. Gate. "Are you serious.." I mumble under my breath. I walk towards it, and put on foot on it, making sure its stable, before I start climbing it. I jump over it, groaning at the pain in my legs. "Asshat." I mumble and stand up straight walking up to the door. I twist the handle but it doesn't budge, so I walk backwards, and charge at it, kicking it in. "Lilly?!" I yell but here nothing. It seems that no one is even here. I check the upstairs first, but see no one. I go back down the stairs, and go into the living room, and dining room, and scream out of frustration when I see no one.

I go into the kitchen, and smirk when I see a metal door. Then I frown. What if she's not alive. I go over to it, and twist the handle but it doesn't budge. I kick it, and punch it, I even charge at it, nothing. "Fucking bastard!" I yell, even though he can't hear me. There has to be a key somewhere. Maybe, he was dumb enough to leave it laying around. I start by looking in the kitchen, moving things that looked out of place, and turning over cups, and vases. Nothing. I go into the living room, accidentally knocking over a book. As I go to pick it up, something falls out of it, making a clinging noise on the ground. I look down a smirk. A key. I toss the book onto his vouch, and pick up the key, running into the kitchen. Shakily I put it in the keyhole, and turn.

I hear a click, and swing it open, causing a loud noise. Not caring, I run down the stairs, but it was dark. I go back up them, and flick on the switch and run down them, almost tripping along the way. Sure, enough Lilly was curled in a ball, whimpering. "Lilly?!" I say running towards her. "D..don't hurt me." She says and I frown. "Its Dan, Love. I'm here." I say gently touching her arm, and she looks up at me, a smile then forming on her face. She pulls me into a hug, and I feel happiness go through me. "Here, come on. Let's get this chain off you, and get out of here." I say using the key, which also worked. "He tried to stab me.." She says and I frown.

"You're safe now." I say helping her up. "He wanted to kill our baby." She says and I close my eyes. "I had to lie to him and say he could after its born so he didn't harm me or the baby.. I feel is terrible.." She says and I wrap her in a hug. "Shh.. Its okay. You did the right thing. You saved yourself and the baby. I'm proud of you. You're so strong." I say rubbing her back. "My ring!" I hear say and she let's go, and walks over to something and picks it up, putting it on her finger. Her wedding ring. "I don't know where the necklace or the engagement ring is though.." She says with a frown. "I'll get you a new ones, come on. We need to get out before he comes back." I say but she shakes her head. I sigh and walk up the stairs and stand in front of the door.

"Dan.. What are you doing?" She asks. "Letting you find them. I'll stand here to make sure he doesn't come down and hurt you. I know how much that necklace means to you." I say. I'm actually terrified right now. I just want us all to be safe.

(Lilly's POV)

As I'm looking around, I could feel my wrist where he cut start to burn and I feel like giving up. I see something shiny in the corner and walk over to it to see not only my necklace, but my engagement ring. "He just had to be a stubborn little bitch, and ruin everything." I'm mumble picking them up, putting my rings On, them putting my necklace in my pocket. Suddenly I hear a door slam close and Dan runs down the stairs. "He's here, Lilly, we need to hide." He says and I look around. "There's no where.." I say, my heart beat increasing. I hear him walking down the basement stairs and when he sees Dan he scowls.

"Oh look, the punk came to save you." He says and I grip onto Dan's arm. "I love him, not you." I say and he rolls his eyes. "You're mine, Lilly. You will learn to!" He yells and I flinch. "Don't yell at her ever again!" Dan says walking towards him, when suddenly he pulls out a gun, pouting it at me. "Touch me I dare you." He says and Dan backs away slowly. "W..why can't no one except that you're mine, Lilly?! Why can't you just love me, like I love you?! Why do you like him instead!" He yells, and I bite my lip scared. "Police! Put your hands up where I can see them!" I hear someone yell. "If I can't have you, no one can." He says and I hear a loud bang, suddenly I'm shoved to the side, and I hit the floor with a thump.

No.. I hurriedly stand up, and scream when I see that he had shot Dan. "Dan!" I yell running over to him. "Why.. No.." I say seeing a bullet hole with blood pouring out of it, in his chest. "I..I told you, Lilly. I'd take a bullet for you." He says, and tears fall down my face. "I'm okay, Lil.." He says. I look over to see that asshole being arrested but I could care less. He just shot my husband. My love. My whole world..
