At the carnival

"I haven't been to a carnival since I was a little kid!" I said excitedly

"It's been a minute since I've been to one too." Syd said as she grabbed my hand and entwined our fingers together. I was glad we were away from everyone else, I could actually be myself and it felt so good.

"Let's go on the merry-go-round!" I said.

We walked to the merry-go-round and took our seats. I sat on a unicorn and Syd sat next to me on one of those huge orange and white fish you see at Chinese food restaurants..I think they're called koi fish. Anyways, the carousel started spinning and me and Syd were still holding hands. It felt magical to me because I haven't been able to be with Syd like this; holding hands and just being close without hiding in my room. Sometimes, SOMETIMES I think this is way better than making out, but don't get me wrong, I still like to make out. Once the carousel stopped spinning, we both got off and headed to the game area.

"You wanna hoop?" She asked me

"I bet you a kiss I'll win." I said, feeling confident

"And if you don't win?" She asked.

I got on my tippy toes and whispered something in her ear which made her giggle and get sweaty. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Is it hot in here or is it just me?" She said fanning herself and looking around as if she was waiting for a random person to answer her question.

"First of all, we're outside. Second, I'm pretty sure it's you." I said as I pecked her nose.

"You ready to lose this bet?" I said

"No, the real question is, are you ready to lose this bet?"

"Whatever." I said as I handed the guy who runs the basketball game a dollar.

I started shooting and missed quite a few times and Syd was in the lead, but not for long. When there was only 5 seconds on the clock left, I hooped like my life depended on it. And I beat Syd by one point!

"HA! Noww where's my kiss?" I said while I got on my tippy toes and wrapped my arms around her neck.

"I guess." Syd said.

We both smirked and leaned in at the same time. We were kissing for about 5 seconds until someone tapped my shoulder. We both stopped and I looked to see who it was.

"TYLER? TACO? What the hell are you doing here?" I said, which caused Syd to let go of my waist.

"We heard the carnival was here and we wanted to go before it left." Tyler said.

"Everyone else is here?!?" I half-screamed

"Yes. Calm down.." Taco said as he grabbed my shoulders.

"But don't worry. We'll keep the guys as far away from you as possible." Tyler said

"Thanks guys."

"When someone gets me free fatburger, I automatically owe you something." Tyler said.

"Well I should get you free fatburger more often." Syd said

"We're gonna find the guys now, so we can keep them away from you two." Taco said

"Go on kids! Don't have too much fun!" Tyler said shaking his finger at us. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever. Later Daddy T. Later Tac." I laughed

Tyler and Taco walked off and Syd grabbed my hand and pulled me behind the whack-a-mole game. She pulled a out a ziplock bag with white powder in it.

"Syd! What the hell?" I said

"Chill..I thought you were a badass anyways." Syd said as she made the cocaine lines. She grabbed a dollar bill out of her pocket and rolled it up. I sighed and watched as she sniffed up a line of cocaine. She handed me the rolled up dollar and I sniffed up a line.

"Shit..." I mumbled under my breath.

Things started changing..but it wasn't bad. Everything looked cool and colorful. There were two lines left so I handed Syd the dollar and she sniffed, then I sniffed up the last line. At this point, I started hallucinating. I looked at Syd and smirked. I grabbed her arm and pulled her to my face, then I kissed her. We had a whole make out session going on right behind the wack-a-moles. When we finished making out, (for now) we started walking towards the carousel again, when we saw Left riding on it. His eyes got real big which made me laugh, which made Syd laugh, and I laughed back at her because when she laughs she always sounds high as fuck. We kept getting weird stares from everyone, but I didn't care. We walked..I mean we stumbled to the food court and got some cotton candy.

"That's weird.." I said while I starred at my cotton candy

"What's weird?" Syd asked me

"Is cotton candy supposed to have little Syd's dancing all over it?"

"WHOA LET ME SEE!" Syd grabbed my cotton candy and starred at it.

"I only see little dancing Kiera's.." She handed me my cotton candy back and took a bite out of her own. I grabbed her arm and we stumbled to the house of mirrors. When we got there, there was a clown with balloons staring at us. I couldn't help but to scream, which made Syd cover my mouth.

"Are you scared of clowns or something?" She said with her hand still over my mouth.

"Have you looked at his face?!?!" I whisper-yelled. She looked at him, then back at me.

"What about him?"

I shook my head

"I think I need to lay down.." I said

"Yeah good idea. Lets go." Syd said as she grabbed my hand.

We walked to my car, hand in hand, and Syd decided to drive since I'm not used to cocaine and shit... When we got home, I unlocked the door and we stumbled in the door, hand in hand, about to kiss and saw the guys there. I thought they were still at the carnival, and why is everyone always at my house? This ain't no shelter.. I saw Juan and he looked hurt, but it was pissing me off because he left me and I was tired of it..I couldn't take it anymore..

"HOW COULD YOU BE SO SELFISH JUAN?" Everyone turned to him

"YOU FUCKING LEFT ME FOR ALMOST A FUCKING YEAR AND YOU EXPECT US TO STILL BE TOGETHER?!? HOW DO I KNOW YOU WEREN'T FUCKIN BITCHES BEHIND MY BACK?!?!"

"Look babe-"

"NO! DON'T CALL ME THAT EVER AGAIN! I'M DONE WITH YOU! AND YOU WANNA KNOW WHY?!" Syd, Frank, Tyler, and Taco looked at me and shook their heads with worried looks on their faces. But I didn't care..I was too fed up to hide it anymore..

"BECAUSE I'M WITH SYD!!"
