Chapter 13

Syd

I woke up to see that Kiera wasn't in the bed anymore..she must be in the shower. Should I ask her about her and Juan?

"Goodmorning love." Kiera said as she pecked my lips.

"Goodmorning." I said as I walked to the bathroom to do my hygiene.

Kiera

I stepped out of the bathroom and saw that Syd was awake, so I kissed her goodmorning but she seemed like she was thinking about other things. I don't know what it could be, but it seems like it's stressing her out..that thing that happened between me and Juan has been making me feel really guilty and I'm thinking about telling Syd about it..maybe over some lunch.

Syd

I stepped out of the bathroom and smelled bacon and French toast..Kiera's favorite. She must be making breakfast. I changed my clothes and went downstairs. I guess everyone except Taco left because the house was full of trash.

"Goodmorning Tac. Did everyone else leave?" I asked Taco

"Hey, and yes they left behind another mess." He replied

"IM TIRED OF CLEANING THIS MOTHAFUCKIN HOUSE SO MUCH!! ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS NOT MY MESS!" Kiera yelled from the kitchen. "When school starts back up, no one is coming to my house."

"I almost forgot about school. We have like a two months of summer left." I said

"You know they're gonna fly by tho.." Kiera said

"Yeah..we better start havin fun." Tac said

"We better start cleaning this house.." Kiera said

While we were cleaning, I was still thinking about how I was gonna ask Kiera about all this...I wanna take her to lunch and ask her. Fatburger..? No we always go there...Chipotle? Maybe..we haven't been there in awhile anyways. I must've been thinking too hard because Kiera waved her hand in my face.

"Helllooo? Earth to Syd..did you hear anything I just said?" She said in my face

"Huh? Oh..sorry. I wasn't paying attention." I said

"I said..we're done cleaning and do you wanna grab something to eat? Taco left already..so just me and you?" Kiera said with a weak smile. She looks..slightly worried...stressed maybe?

"Yeah. Wanna go to Chipotle? We haven't been there in awhile.." I asked her while still looking at her expression

"Yeah, sure. Let me go get ready."

Kiera

I'm slightly worried and possibly stressed...I think it's time I told Syd about my little "affair" I had with Juan...the guilt has been eating me alive, and even though we weren't together at the time, I still feel like she should know. Plus I really want some Chipotle..I've been eating Fatburger almost everyday this summer so far, and it's starting to show....oops

"Babe, you ready yet?" Syd called from downstairs

"Yes love, I'll be down in a few seconds!"

I haven't even gotten dressed yet..I grabbed my "Syd's got bitches" t-shirt, and loosely tucked it in my shorts, then I put on some green and black HUF socks and my gray vans, and ran down the stairs, putting my hair in a ponytail on the way down. Syd greeted me in the car with a kiss, for some reason, she looked slightly worried..nervous maybe?

Syd

I'm slightly worried, and possibly nervous..I'm worried because I don't know what to expect from Kiera when I ask her what I have to ask her. I'm nervous because if all of this stuff I've heard about her is made up, I don't want her to think that I was accusing her.

This is confusing and difficult..

Kiera

I don't want Syd to think of me as a "hoe" or anything because of what I did with Juan..I feel stupid for falling for him.

I like how I made it seem like they were reading each other's minds..that was cute
