Chapter 11

Kiera POV

I only ate like...three brownies...I think..and I can't think straight. I turned on the tv and watched a random movie channel while I took another bite of my fourth brownie. The movie that was playing, had ended, and I heard someone unlocking the front door. I pretended to be taking the brownie pan back to the kitchen, so I could see who it was. It was a guy, but he was darker than Juan, so he's off the list. He looked like he was in his late forties, early fifties. I guess I saw me going in the kitchen, because he smiled and walked to me with open arms.

"BABYGIRL!" He said as he hugged me tight. When he let me go, he placed his hands on my shoulders and looked me in my eyes, with tears in his own. "I missed you babygirl.." I was high and confused..

"Um..I think you have the wrong girl." I said to the strange guy. I think I said something wrong, because I could see the hurt in his eyes.

"You don't remember me?" I shook my head in response

"It's me, Henry...your poppa .." He let go of my shoulders, and sat down on the sofa in the living room. I had to think for a minute, then I nearly fell over when all my childhood memories came back..

I had a happy life with my momma and my daddy. We did almost everything together as a family. Until he got fired from a really good job. We had money troubles but he managed to spend most of the money we did have, on alcohol. He started gettin violent and beat on me and my momma. By the time I was a sophomore, he left with another woman, and my momma got really depressed and was diagnosed with brain cancer..she left me some money she saved up before she passed, which was not too long after my daddy left. I've been livin alone since I was 15...all because of him...

I had to catch myself from falling over, and then I took a few steps back. So many questions flooded my mind; Why did he kidnap me? Why did he give me weed brownies? Why is he coming back into my life?! I was perfectly fine without him..

Syd POV

I'm still worried about Kiera. I know she's a tough one, and that she can handle her own, but I'm still worried. Taco was in my room with me because I was sleep, but I woke up occasionally, because I was worried. I heard my door open.

"I brought weeeed!" Domo said trying to cheer me up. I sat up on my bed and grabbed the blunt from Doms, he lit it for me before I took the first puff. I know where ever Kiera was, she would probably want me to smoke some weed to calm down, so the first puff was for her, I sound kinda sus. I felt the high coming on, and I started to calm down. Then Tyler's loud ass busted in my room.

"HEY FRANK WAN-" He started coughing like crazy. He should've known not to bust in a room that Domo just entered...He grabbed his inhaler out of his pocket and took a few puffs, then continued what he was saying.

"Frank wants everyone in the living room. Juan showed up so were about to confront his ass."

"Aight, we'll be out in a minute." Taco said

"Yeah, you worry about you and we'll worry about us. Got that wheezy?" Doms said trying to make light of the situation that Kiera's missing. When I finished my blunt, I walked to the living room with Tac and Doms, and saw Juan. I wanted to beat his ass so bad...Hodgy was already going off on him.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS KIERA?!" Juan looked frightened

"I told you! I only know as much as you guys!" I don't know how, but I could tell that Juan wasn't lying, so I spoke up.

"Guys...Juan's telling the truth. Leave him alone." Frank looked at me like I had something on my face.

"Ummm..I think that's the weed talking."

"No. It isn't..now leave him alone." I was starting to believe all the things Juan said about Kiera earlier..when we find her, I'll talk to her about it.

Kiera POV

After thinking about the past, I sat next to my daddy on the sofa.

"Hey. Um..poppa?"

"Yes?" He sounded like all the enthusiasm was sucked out of him

"Why?"

"I don't know babygirl..I just don't know." He started crying. I patted his back and tried my best to not cry.

"I thought about it, and I think I..I should forgive you.." He stopped crying and looked me in my eyes

"Really?"

"You shouldn't hold grudges. Especially when it's over stuff from the past." I smiled and reached my arms out to hug him. He smiled and hugged back.

"I'm sorry babygirl. For everything I've put you through. Please forgive me?"

"I forgive you..now can I ask you something?"

"Anything."

"Why did you knock me out and kidnap me, instead of talking it all out?"

"I just thought that you wouldn't want to talk to me and that you didn't want anything to do with me..."

"Ok. That WAS pretty true..it isn't anymore. Oh, one more question."

"Go on."

"Why did you give me weed brownies?"

"I thought you might freak out.."

"Ok..one more question. Last one..I promise"

"Keep talkin."

"Can you take me home?"

He sighed and grabbed his keys.

"Come on babygirl."

He let me out and closed and locked the front door. He went to the passenger side of the car, and opened my door, then went to his side. Then he drove off..

When he pulled up in my driveway, he parked the car and just sat there, looking at all the cars that were parked in front of him.

"What is this? A party?"

"I doubt it. My friends are probably trying to find me."

"Oh. Well you better get in there."

"Before I go, can I see your phone?"

He handed me his phone and I put my number in it.

"Call me whenever. Just don't show up at my house without letting me know first."

He chuckled

"Alright babygirl." I opened the car door, but before I got out I kissed his cheek and went to my front door. He drove off when he saw that I got the door opened. When I walked in, literally all of my friends were in my house, and they all looked at me when I came in. When Syd saw me, she screamed and ran up to me, and hugged the shit outta me. When she put me down, I kissed her, and she grabbed my ass.

"Oooh. Someone's gettin it tonight!" Doms yelled

"Ew Syd. Really?" Taco said, sounding like he was about to throw up.

We both flicked him off and ran up the stairs.

Syd POV

Ok..I did say I was gonna talk to Kiera about Juan, but I missed her so much, so I'm just gonna give her this welcome back home gift, and talk about Juan later ;)

Hai! Looks like Kiera's "poppa" is back in her life! Do y'all want a heated scene with Syd and KiKi? ;)
