(Lynn's P.O.V.)
Riiiiing. Riiiiing. Riiiiing.
I rub my groggy eyes open after the sirens of my alarm scream for me to wake up. I manage to press the "dismiss" button and slip out of bed into the comfortable slippers I keep next to it for this particular reason.
Today is the first day of freshman year, college though, not high school. My best friend Haley and I are renting this house at the moment because it's not too far away from the school.
I slip on light blue skinny jeans and walk across the hallway quietly to wake up Haley. I knock on her door softly to see if by any chance she's already up. After a short moment of silence I open her door to find her with arms and legs sprawled across the bed. It's funny cause when she's sleeping she looks so innocent and calm, but as soon as she wakes up she's gonna be that crazy rebel again. I roll my eyes and grab her ankles, shaking her feet.
It makes her jump a little but she refuses to wake up. A long sigh escapes my lips as I jump onto her screaming to wake up, then fall over laughing at her reaction.

my whole upper body shoots upward as I let a short shriek slip past my lips. I look over to the the thing that woke me up. My eyes roll into the back of my head when I find it's just Lynn, falling off the bed cause she's laughing so hard.
"Haha. You think you're so funny." I say sarcastically.
I step off the bed and instantly get head rush, covering my forehead with one hand and squeezing my eyes shut to get rid of it. It goes away after a couple of seconds so I walk over to the dresser to pick out my outfit for the day. Ugh, college. I'm only here for the parties, bro.
The doorbell rings and I sigh. I am WAY too lazy to get the door right now. I throw a shoe at the softly giggling Lynn, still getting over her laughing tantrum on the floor. "Go get the door!" I shout as the shoe hits her arm.

"Ouch." I rub my forearm and roll sideways to the bedroom door. Haley really isn't a morning person. My legs carry me down the stairs to the front door. I wonder who it is.
I slowly open the door and my jaw drops to the floor. It was a little girl that looked like she was trying to sell cookies, but behind her...
He looked like he could be an angel. I couldn't think and all my words were caught in my throat as I just stood there gaping at him...
He creased his forehead looking at me then smiled and held his hand out for me to shake it. I suppose he gets the looks pretty often, with how easily he's taking it.
I looked at his hand for a second and finally got the nerve to shake it and smile. I cleared my throat and said in a polite voice, "Hello?"
He smiled, showing his pearly whites. "Hi, I'm Kian. It's nice to meet you." I nod and smile, not sure who sent the hottie to my front door. "I'm Lynn. Nice to meet you too."
The little girl smiled and spoke in a cute, high pitched voice. "Hello. I'm Melissa." Aw, it sounded like she had to practice acting polite before she came; that's so cute. I eye the box of cookies in her hands as the man, who claims to be named Kian, laughs a little.
"She's selling cookies for a school fundraiser. Would you like to buy some?" Even when he talks he sounds adorable... I notice his nose ring is on the left side, the same side mine is on. It's even a thin, silver hoop like mine. Weird.
I realize that he's waiting for me to answer, so I look at him and smile.
"Of course I'd like to do you. I mean buy you. I mean--" I blush real bad, biting my lip so hard that I feel like it could start bleeding. I hope he didn't notice... I smile and clear my throat, trying to stop the blushing. "I'd love to buy some cookies."
I grab my hair and bring it to the side, remembering that I just woke up and hadn't done anything to my hair or face yet. I'm standing in front of this extremely hot guy completely beauty free. I start panicking, then stop once I realize, he's too hot to be single. What am I doing? Of course he has a girlfriend. Too bad, cause he looked about my age.
Haley yells from the staircase behind me. "Who is it?" Melissa moves to the side so she can see Haley, and waves to her. 'Oh great', I think. Haley also isn't a kids person.
Melissa then looks back at me and smiles. "Is that your friend?"
Kian nudges her a little. "That's her business, not yours." He looks up and gives a toothless smile to me again. I give one back in return.I was handed a magazine to look through for the cookies. I flipped through the pages; my sweet tooth said they were all good, but my wallet disagreed. I find the cheapest one, the chocolate chip, and order a box of them. I mean, I don't have the nerve to tell a little girl like her that I don't have the money for her fundraiser thing.
Kian tells me they should be delivered by next month, smiles, and walks away with the little girl who I'm assuming to be his little sister.
