•••03: Her New Giant School
[ C A R T E R ]
Never have I ever been to a school with mixed students. I've always gone to a school with just humans. No Giants. Now I'm walking towards a blue door, surrounded by Giants! I've never seen so many Giants before, never! Maybe a few in my art classes and they are all super nice, but they are younger and not as big as the teenagers around me. Especially this one girl called Lola, she's adorable and an amazing drawer for her age.
Pulling on my straps of my bag i slowly walk towards the entrance to the school, avoiding any eye contact with the Giants above me. I pick up my pace. You can never be to careful around Giants, they are careless and don't care about humans. They will step on you and continue walking without even a care in the world. They wouldn't even know that they've just killed someone until they took their shoe off and saw all the blood.
I huff, puffing out my cheeks I flick my orange hair out of my eyes and tuck my mane behind my ears. I squeeze my bag straps tighter as I reach out for the ugly blue door with the school crest terribly stuck on it. Turning the handle then pulling it open I'm greeted with an almost empty hall. A few kids stand by their lockers chatting but the hall is mostly empty. Where are all the humans?
I hear a shout and look over my shoulder, seeing more and more Giants entering through the Giant doors. I watch a guy ride in on his bike, stopping at the bike rack he locks his bike in. I see a group of girls giggling as they speed walk past a group of boys, obviously crushing on them. Then my eyes land on an extremely tall giant with gelled black hair, his blue eyes glowing from even his height. He's wearing blue ripped jeans and a white shirt that hangs from his large frame. He has a black leather jacket on and is wearing black converse on his ginormous feet that thud across the pavement towards me. But what makes me stare, is what's in his hand.
Sitting on his outstretched palm is a boy. I feel like fainting at the idea of being held that high off the ground. The giant smiles down at the boy sitting calmly in his palm. They both laugh at whatever the boy says and the giant makes his way towards the human entrance.
Frozen on the spot I watch the Giants black converse slam down near me, making the ground shake and I stumble back a little, just managing to grab hold of the doorframe before I fall over. I push my hair out of my eyes again and watch in horror as the giant crouches down, lowering his huge hand towards the ground and placing the boy In front of him.
"Meet you out front, yeah?" The giant rumbles, startling me I back away into the school. My eyes widen as the giant stands back up to his full height, at an alarming speed until he's towering over me and the boy, he smiles at the boy bellow.
"Yeah, see ya after practise!" The boy yells up at the giant, shifting his bag on his back he turns towards the door and me. He looks familiar, the boy that's walking towards me. His shaggy ash blonde hair and sharp jawline, something about his face, reminds me of somebody I've seen before.
"Hey?" the giant mumbles again. I look up again at the giant and I gasp, the Giants blue eyes turn towards me and he smiles. I softly squeal and run backwards through the door, ignoring everything and everyone I run past. I turn a corner, not really knowing where I'm going I just sprint forwards. My bag bounces on my back and my red hair flys behind my head. Using my cross country running skills I sprint like mad as if my life depended on it. I look up and see a sign saying 'main hall' so I pick up the speed and thud down the hall, pushing past a group of guys. They yell at me but their voices are cut off as I turn another corner. My eyes settle on something white and I am stopped by a giant wall.
