Chapter 4 - Scorpio's Suspicions

Third Person's POV:

In Celestia, 2 mighty demon generals were on their way to the throne room.

"Why do you think the king wants to see us five?" A blue haired demon general asked her other demon companion.

"How about we find out." Libra answered while motioning to the door.

The two of them went inside and saw the other 3 demon generals sitting on their own chairs.

"Finally, you two came! Did you lose your way around here." Aries jokingly exclaimed at the two of them.

"Shut up! I don't have time for your jokes." Aquarius hissed at the red haired demon general while giving her a glare.

"Chill, don't take the joke seriously." Aries exclaimed as she raised both her hands in a surrender way.

Aquarius ignored her and went to take her sit, between Libra and Sagittarius.

As Aquarius and Libra went to take a sit, the door burst open revealing the powerful and great demon king, Scorpio.

Everyone inside the throne room bowed down as their king walked towards the table.

"You may leave us now." The demon king ordered the servants in a cold voice his very known for.

All the servants hurriedly went outside in fear of making the king angry for being slow. And let me tell you one thing, an angry demon king is not a good sight to see.

Scorpio gave a big sigh when all his servants went out.

"So, why did you call us for?" Aquarius asked dropping her usual monotone voice.

"I want you all to get ready." Scorpio seriously exclaimed at the five of them.

"What for?" Gemini asked with a hint of curiousity shining in his icy blue eyes.

"I just felt that there will be an upcoming war between us and those knights." Scorpio worriedly said dropping the fearless demon king act.

"Scorpio, there's nothing to worry about. We already defeated those damn pest." Libra reassured Scorpio while dropping the formalities since Scorpio asked them to.

"I know..." Scorpio trailed.

"But..." Aquarius said encouraging him to continue.

"But, its been a year since we attack them and they haven't made an action one bit. Don't you think its a little bit suspicious since those pest always made an attack." Scorpio finished and looked at each one of them in the eye.

"Yeah, its a little bit suspicious, I admit but after what we've done, I don't think their planning an attack any minute now." Sagittarius said in reassurance.

"And besides, if they attack us, we can handle them. Remember, an ordinary weapon cannot kill or harm us. It's not like they have the 6 legendary weapons." Aries added and gave a reassuring look at Scorpio.

"Your right! But still, I want you to be always ready. We might not know." Scorpio ordered them and motion for them to leave.

They quickly comply and the six of them went out of the throne room.

"Do you think those knights will attack soon?" Libra asked the rest of them.

"Libra, you heard what Sagi and Aries said. Everything will be fine right guys?!?" Aquarius exclaimed while looking at the rest of them.

"Guys!! Are you okay?" Aquarius asked a second later when nobody answered her and saw the three of them deep in thought.

"GUYS!!" Aquarius shouted as she got frustrated at the way their acting.

The three demon generals snap out of their thoughts when the irritated blue haired demon general shouted at them.

"What?" The three of them asked in unison.

"Never mind." Aquarius irritatedly exclaimed and gave an irritated sigh.

"I think we should go and prepare like what his majesty told us." Aries exclaimed.

Libra, Sagittarius, and Gemini nodded their head yes and went to prepare followed by an irritated Aquarius.

Somewhere in the throne room, Scorpio was pacing back and forth. Still feeling worried.

"Your majesty, are you okay?" A white haired demon exclaimed. Her voice lacing with concern.

He turned around and saw Hydra. His own personal servant and adviser. Someone who he can trust and someone who knows him quite well aside from the 5 demon general.

"Oh, Hydra! I didn't see you there. And I'm fine! Thank you for your concern." Scorpio exclaimed but Hydra see throughy him. She knows that the demon king is nowhere fine.

"I know you're not fine, you cannot lie to me like you always do. Now tell me what's worrying you that the mighty demon king has to lie to me?" Hydra said looking at the defeated demon king.

"It's just that I got this feeling that thise damn pest will come back." Scorpio said finally giving up.

"So, I don't see a problem there. We can just defeat them again like we do the last time." Hydra said not seeing a problem about Scorpio's declaration.

"Yeah but this time I feel that were going to lose this battle. We only won last time because we caught them off guard." Scorpio said

"Yes but this time, whether they're ready or not we can defeat them easily. Our troops are more stronger than before. And besides, you and the other demon Generals have magic and a simple weapon can't hurt you severely that can cause your death." Hydra said trying to reassure Scorpio.

"Yes, but what if they have the 6 legendary weapons." Scorpio asked getting more worried.

"Exactly! IF they have the 6 legendary weapons. We already searched for it and its nowhere to be found. Do you think they'll find it." Hydra said while Scorpio nodded his head yes but the feeling of worry still didn't leave him.

Hydra sigh and said, "I know your still worried about this."

"To ease your worries, how about I ask the troops to be prepared and train everyday. Come to think of it, I think they already told the troops but to be sure I'm going to check on them." Hydra exclaimed and bid her farewell.

Scorpio just gave a big sigh and went to sit on his throne.

Hydra arrive at the training grounds and saw the troops, along with the 5 demon generals, training.

"Hydra, what are you doing here?" Aquarius asked who stop what she's doing when she saw the white haired demon.

"Just checking on all of you." Hydra answered nonchalantly.

"Don't tell me he's still worried." Aquarius said more like a statement than a question.

"Pretty much." Hydra shrugged.

Aquarius sighed and rub her temples. "Just do as he says. You know Scorpio very well as much as I do. He won't drop this until he's satisfied." Hydra said as she looked at the blue haired demon general in front of her.

"I know, I'm just worry for him." Aquarius answered and excuse herself to continue training with the others.

"We all are." Hydra mumbled under her breath and gave a big sigh that no one saw.

She turned around and went to the throne room to accompany Scorpio and assure him that everything will be fine.

But little did they know that Scorpio's suspicions are true. And it was their biggest mistake for not believing and shrugging it off.
