Chapter 2 - One Year Later

Third Person's POV:

(One year later)

Its been a year since that surprise attack on all the islands. Some people still remembered the incident like it was yesterday, particularly a purple haired trainee knight.

Virgo was clutching the necklace her mother gave her and reminiscent all the fun times she had with her parents. One lone tear fell out of her left eye.

"Virgo, come on! Its almost starting." She heard a voice shouted. She wiped the tear before someone saw her cry. "Be there in a minute." She shouted back to the person, which is Cancer.

Virgo turned around and saw Cancer with Pisces and went towards them. They became her best friends and even thought of them as her sisters but not by blood. They were there when she needed a shoulder to lean on and vice versa.

"What are you doing there? Its about to start, we have to go." Pisces exclaimed not giving Virgo a chance to breath, she grabbed both Cancer and Virgo's hand and zoom all the way to the camp, where the guys are waiting for them.

Leo was pacing back and fourth waiting for the girls to arrive. He was trying to hold his patience while Taurus was just sitting on the chair looking at Leo pacing back and fourth.

Leo heard some noises and saw the girls arrive. "Finally! Its like forever." Leo exaggerated with an annoyed expression.

"Sorry! I was lost in thought, I didn't got track of the time." Virgo apologized and quickly changed her outfit since all of them are quite ready.

As Virgo finished getting ready they quickly go to the ceremony. Oh! Did I forgot to tell you that its their graduation day as trainee knights? No? Well, now I'm telling you.

They are all wearing their armors for the graduation and later on their best suits and dresses for the party. (The armor they wear is the one I show you)

They quickly get in line as the ceremony started. The first one whom are called, are the soon to be generals.

"I would like Ophiuchus and Capricorn to please step forward." Headmaster Orion said as the said males step forward.

"By the power vested in me. I, Orion, Headmaster of the Zodiac Camp, declared Ophiuchus and Capricorn as the new Generals of Zodiac Camp. Now rise!" Headmaster exclaimed which earned a round of applause from all the people witnessing the ceremony.

After declaring Capricorn and Ophiuchus the new Zodiac Generals, the ceremony went on. Trainee knights graduate and officially became Knights.

After the ceremony, everyone went to their own tents and change their armors to their suits and dresses.

As you looked everywhere, all you see are people either dancing, talking or eating inside the Zodiac Temple.

Two new Zodiac Generals were outside, talking. One black haired guy and one red haired guy.

"You know what, Cap! I think today's one of the happiest day of my life." The new red haired General exclaimed with a big happy grin.

"And why is it?" Capricorn asked, although he know why.

Ophiuchus nevertheless answered Capricorn's question, "I just became a General. You knew from the very start that its my dream to become one, when we were just a trainee knights."

"Yeah! I know. And I'm happy for you! You've manage to achieve your dream." Capricorn said to his other companion, with a proud smile plastered on his face.

"Actually, there is this one dream that I also want, but the thing is I don't know if I can achieve it or not." Ophiuchus exclaimed, with a small frown on his handsome face.

"Why? What is your other dream? And why do you think you can't achieve it?" Capricorn asked Ophiuchus, with a spark of curiosity in his red eyes.

"Well, you see..-" Ophiuchus started while fidgeting his fingers, "-Uhm.. You see.. My other dream is to be the one to kill the Demon King, Scorpio." Ophiuchus finished, giving a nervous glance to Capricorn.

Capricorn saw the nervous glances, Ophiuchus gaved him and sigh. "I understand you. Its basically everyone's dream since his the reason why all these happened. I don't blame you so you don't have to be nervous about it." Capricorn said with a small smile on his face, as flashback of what happened to his family resurface in his mind.

"Cap! Cap! Are you okay?" Ophiuchus asked his friend worriedly, as he saw Capricorn's face.

Capricorn was snapped out of his thought when he heard Ophiuchus calling his name. He looked at Ophiuchus and saw the worry in his friend's face. "Uhm.. What did you say?" Capricorn asked.

"I said, Are you okay?" Ophiuchus repeated his question for the second time but this time Capricorn answered with an "I'm fine".

When Capricorn answered, the place was engulfed with silence, except from the noise coming inside, but it was not an uncomfortable silence. It was a comfortable silence and they prefer it that way.

Somewhere inside the palace, an annoyed purple haired knight was forced to join the party.

"Can someone remind me, why am I in this noisy party?" The annoyed purple haired girl asked.

"Because those two-" Taurus started while pointing to both Cancer and Pisces "-forced you to come." He finished. "And because you love us." The said girls added at the same time.

"Loosen up V! We just graduated from being trainee knights. You should try having fun for once." Leo also added while dancing.

"Oh! So you mean I'm not fun." Virgo asked Leo with a dark aura around her.

Leo sweatdropped and try to come up with a good excuse to avoid Virgo's wrath. "Uhm... No.. I didn't mean that.. Uhm well.. Well, would you look at that, its my favorite song their playing. Will you excuse me." Leo stuttered and quickly dashed away from them while both Cancer and Pisces giggled and Taurus gaved a small chuckle.

After chuckling at Leo, Taurus turned to Virgo and said "You do know Leo's right, right? I mean you should really loosen up a bit and try to enjoy the moment. A moment like this never last for long. You should try to have fun and not keep on training."

Both Pisces and Cancer nodded their heads, as a sign of agreement. Virgo looked at them and sigh. "Ok fine! I'll try to enjoy this night but only this night." Virgo said defeated.

Pisces shrugged and said "Fair enough. Atleast you'll enjoy the party even just for once."

Cancer and Taurus nodded their heads. "Now let's go party!" Cancer exclaimed enthusiastically while grabbing both Pisces' and Virgo's hand and dashing towards the dancefloor.

Taurus shook his head at Cancer's actions but a small pink blush creeped on his face. He watched them dance and then went towards their way.

What a beautiful day for our knights but not for long because soon another war will come and may change their lives forever.
