Kenton's POV
We drove into Lozzi's cafe parking lot. After parking our cars, we all got down and walked in.
Our perfect spot where we always stayed each time we went there was not taken. After settling down, Neil and Calum stood up to go order the pizza and milkshakes, then came back to join us.
"So what's Brenda doing today Ken?"Derek surprisingly asked. How did he know about her birthday? Oh yeah...why won't he since we're all close.
"Hmm I don't know. Probably-"I was cut short by the vibration of my phone.
"Talk of the devil and the devil calls."I said waving my phone at their faces to show them who the caller was. Brenda.
"Hello?" Brenda spoke at beep.
"Hey Pretty." "Ken, I saw your text and I really loved it."
"You're welcome." I said smiling sheepishly.
"Okay. I am throwing a party by 8pm. You and the boys are coming over, right?"She sounded excited over the phone. The waiter walked to our table bringing our order. I noticed it was two pizza packs and nine cups of milkshakes. We're just five on the table. Why nine milkshakes?
"Ken? Ken? Are you listening to me?"Bren asked. "Yeah. Sure. Why not." I said immediately. "Alright then. I'll see you and the guys later."she says and hung up.
The guys kept looking at me with questioning look. "So what did she say?" "She's throwing a party and wants us to be there."I responded.
"Oh cool. Guess we have a place to go to after all."Calum excitingly said. The rest just smiled and nodded.
"So Neil....why order-"I stopped short at the questions i wanted to ask that was bothering me as Sandy entered the cafè.
It wasn't only her. The triplet also entered. It looked like she was searching for someone or a space. Well there was many space available so I don't think that's the reason.
Neil waved at her. He stood up grinning as he walked over to her side. Returning his grin she smiled brightly.
I could guess that he was the one that invited her. They walked towards our table to join us, since there was still enough space.
I faced my head down. Then glanced a little at her. She caught me on the spot and I could see her expressions.
It changed from being surprised to flaring hatred. Well it's not like I expected better.
"What's up guys."Drew said happily giving each of us a brotherly punch. Then he picks up a slice of pizza and the Strawberry milkshake while he settled down.
Neil cleared his throat and decided to talk. Pointing at Sandy he says,"This is Cassandra. You can call her Cassie."
As he said that Cassie.....I could see the expressions of "Are you fucking kidding me?" form on their faces.
Neil and her noticed their expressions since they didn't respond until Neil shoulder tapped Calum.
"Wow. So you're the peeping girl." "The what?"Ashley asked confused.
"The peeping girl. The girl that visited the guy's changing room."Calum explained.
The triplets views changed to a 'wow'. "Did you?"Ashley asked looking at her. Feeling a little embarrassed she just nodded her head and that was all.
That totally wasn't all. Why wasn't she saying anything?
I was shocked. I expected more. Like maybe an insult or an arguement or she trying to put the blame on me but instead she just nodded and kept quiet.
She didn't even look at me.
Maybe she's mad than ever. She doesn't want to reveal her anger in front of everyone. Or have I been forgiven?
I kept wondering the reason why she would be so quiet about it.
"I'm Derek Harrington." He said giving her a nice smirk.
"Jeremiah Zylka."
"Calum Brunard. It's nice meeting you. Caddie."
They all chuckled at what he said.
"What's funny?"Calum asked. "It's Cassie, not Caddie dumb-ass."Ashley replied. "Whatever. So Cassie,"he said handing over a Banana flavoured milkshake, which she collected and dropped on the table smiling.
"what year are you? I mean you're new here right?" "Yeah, I am. I'm in the 11th year."
He just nodded taking a sip from his milkshake.
"Brenda's having her birthday party by 8pm today. You guys coming over?"Neil asked them.
"Sure. I never miss a wonderful party." Drew said enthusiastically and turned to look at his sisters begging with his eyes for them to say yes.
"We're coming."Ashley said giving a cocky smile to Sandy and Amanda. Amanda just nodded in agreement.
"We're going?"Sandy asked staring at her. "Yes we are. Brenda throws cool parties that belive me you don't want to miss."
"Well sorry to say this but I don't think I can come. I'm going to be very busy. Probably another time."she said wilfully.
"Oh. That's okay."Calum and Neil both said sadly.
They continued talking about other stuffs but mostly about Sandy. I didn't contribute to anything they said.
In a while I would just glance at Sandy. She was happy to meet good friends, not even looking at my side.
And when she finally did. I saw that spark of hatred in her eyes. I just gave her my normal cocky smile.
