Cassie POV

I didn't loose my way this time around. I got the direction to the Laboratory and I walked inside. I started feeling sick as people glare at me with different expressions.

I didn't know where to sit especially since it was a lab and not a classroom where you could tell a free space.

I just stood there searching vividly until an orange haired girl little bangs waved at me.

"There's a free seat here!"she says. I happily smiled at her and walked to back of the lab to seat beside her. In front of everyone were instruments for electricity practical seeing that a resistant box, an Ammeter, a voltmeter, wires, batteries, bulb and some other stuffs.

"Thanks." I finally said after settling down. "You're welcome. I'm Ashley Lee by the way and you're?"she friendly said.

"Cassandra Brown."I responded now taking my time to study her. She looked like a tomboy. Wearing an orange sweatshirt, little bit torn blue jeans, brown wedged boots and a brown bag.

She was slender like me with a tanned skin. Her caramel eyes were kinda inside and her orange hair ruffled like a dog fur! No seriously if anyone should see her hair alone, they'll think that she's a dog. She also looked like an outcast, but not a bad type.

"So I'm guessing you're new here right?"

"Yeah.... I just started today."

"Cool! You could be my partner for practical since you don't have any."she says happily. Like she had just found the right size of bra to buy for the first time in her life. Lol... "Also i believe we are going to be great friends!"she claps her hands together and in her own fantasy says, "Oh..what a dream come true." I just nodded my head in agreement and kept staring at her like a fool.

I think she noticed I was giving her the weird look because she turned red and embarrassingly said, "I look crazy and I'm acting wierd, aren't I?"

I smiled at her saying "No you are not. I like the way you're free, nice and jovial."

"Really?!"

"Sure!"

"Oh girl, you're so gonna love me! I might be a little crazy at times I must warn you."she said enthusiastically.

We both burst into laughter. Though i believed what she said because I was already liking her.

The physics teacher enters the class and the buzzing class quieted down. He told us to pick partners for all our practicals and then we started the class.

Deep within me, I knew that the day wasn't going to be a boring one. I had someone that was going to make it lively.

I so love practicals, no matter how boring teacher could be, it just always seems fun especially when you have someone like Ash, who makes you laugh your ass out!

After two hours of practical, I packed my books and stationary into my bag.

"So what class are you having next?"Ash curiously asked. "Hmm, let's see...."I trailed off looking into my bag for the schedule.
