Lillia Rosa lahotes pov

Beep. Beep. Be----

I hate alarms. I'm gonna have to get mom to buy me another.
"Lillia! Please tell me you didn't just blow that alarm up?! Again??" I heard my dad shout from the hall. I rolled my eyes and grumbled.
"Yes dad" I moaned under my quilts.
"Come on. School" he said opening my door. Ugh. Really. I groaned and threw my covers off and got out of bed going to my on suit bathroom.
I shut the door and ran the shower. I stopped off and jumped in. I hate school.

Once ready and dressed in my high waisted black jeans and my white crop top and leather jacket, I decided to go down stairs. I grabbed my bag off the floor by my door and walked down.
"Morning darling" mom said as she came up to me and kissed my cheek.
"Morning mom" I said sitting at the breakfast bar. "Do I have to go to school today?" I groaned. Mom laughed and so did dad. I rolled my eyes.
"Yes darling, you need your education. You can't keep bunking off whenever you feel like it." Mom said setting my breakfast in front of me. Pancakes.
"Mom I am a witch. I don't need school" I grumbles before digging in.
"Yes you do Lilla Rosa" my dad said sitting next to me.
"Why though? I'm immortal. I can't be killed. I can continue my education whenever I feel like it." I said with a full mouth of pancake goodness.
"Look, lilla, as much as we would love you to practice your powers we would also love you to get a education. Maybe even go to college. Get a career." Mother said. I sighed.
"People think I'm a freak though because I got angry and things happened. Mom, dad, what if it happens again. It's a new semester. People might make me angry and I might loose cont-" I was cut off by dad.
"Your in control of your powers lil, nothing like that will happen again" he reassured me. I went to speak but mom cut me off.
"Sweetie, you've spent all summer with my mom. She's helped you. All the witch sprits on the other side have. They all have your back and your in control. Even if it is unbelievable that my only child is a witch and she can speak to the dead." She laughed a little at the end trying to make me laugh. I smiled a small smile.
"I still don't know how I can do that. Anyway" I dragged out. "I'll see you both tonight. I'm going to the Cullens house after school. Alice wants to play dress up" I rolled my eyes.
"See you tonight, love. Have fun." Dad said while mom kissed my head. I nodded and walked to the front door and put my ankle wedge boots on.
I walked to my car and jumped in starting the engine. I sighed.
"It is going to be perfectly okay lilla. Don't worry" I jumped.
"Stop doing that grams." I grumbled pulling out of the drive way. I looked over and saw her in the passenger seat.
"Sorry. I only come when you think of me" she said. I nodded and started driving.
"So, what if I mess up and get angry?" I asked her.
"The spirits and I will guide you, hold back you powers a bit. Do not fret my child. Please" she explained. I sighed as I parked up at La push high.
"One more year left. Then I don't have to come back. Ever." I said and looked over at grams, but she was gone. I breathed in and turned the engine off. I got out the car, running my fingers through my long ash blonde hair. I locked the car and walked to the building.
As I was walking to my locker someone bumped into me.
"Oh my God I'm so sorry" they said I looked down and saw a girl on the floor. Long Brown hair. That's all I saw as she quickly grabbed her stuff. I saw a mark on her hand. It looked like a bruise. I think.
"It's fine. Don't worry about it." I mumbled walking past her. I wanted to know what was wrong but I didn't want to get close to people. Not this year. I need to get this year over and done with. And then I'm free from all off this. Hopefully.
