♡Ruby's POV♡

We ate dinner in silence. Dan knew but Phil didn't. I don't want all of this to be about me! It can't be! I desperately tried so keep the scars hidden but now Dan knows. There's no erasing his memory or any sort of leverage. No going back. At all. I'm going to have to tell Phil. I'd just have to tell him. I glanced at them both, Phil positioned to my right and Dan on the left as if we were in a triangle formation. Dan's head was propped up by his firearm, his hand drooping under his chin eating honey nut cornflakes. Phil was on his phone, probably scrolling through Tumblr eating Lucky Charms. I cleared my throat, louder than expected which made them look. Okay. This is the moment. Tell Phil. Explain how Dan already knows.
"Phil?" I quietly called.
"Yes." he answered.
"I...have...something I need to tell you." Dan whipped his head up and looked at me, a little confused but seemed to know what I was on about. "Dan already knows because he...he saw them." I looked at Dan with a tear in my eye and then looked back at Phil.
"Saw what Ruby?" Phil asked; he too looked at Dan.
"I'm going through a depression and I self harm. I thought you deserved to know." By now I was streaming with tears and I couldn't stop. Phil rested his hand on top of mine and looked me softly in the eye.
"It's okay to be upset." he told me. "If nothing,  I'm glad you told me."
"Thanks Philly." I laughed, still bawling my eyes out. He stood up and opened his arms. I laughed again and stood up to meet him.
Dan also stood up and hugged me from behind so I was in a warm, comfortable Phan sandwich. Haha it was nice, knowing there are people out there who love me. No they're not blood relatives but it's my two favourite people ever! My big brothers. Always looking out for me.
I knew what I did was right. My heart was still pounding but somehow I felt much more relieved now that there's not much to hide.

☆Phil's POV☆

"I always felt there was a missing piece and after Ruby told me, I knew that what she said was it. Everything was perfect... until that moment. When it... happened."

☆Dan's POV☆

"Phil and I were running through the woods nearby the next day, just trying to have fun exercising, trying to get fit and get some fresh air for once in the year and we heard a scream. No doubt it was a feminine scream. We stopped. It seemed to be coming from our left so we kinda went that general direction, hoping we could find whoever it was." *Looks at Phil, both with tears in their eyes*. "When we finally got there, luckily the police got there before we did because according to them, there was a stabbing and the victim was stabbed because she didn't want to reveal 'sufficient information'. The gang who stabbed the girl we're caught and 2/7 were left for dead because they refused to help kill the girl." *Stops and signals Phil to carry on with the story*

☆Phil's POV☆

"And then we were shown the girl's body because he police needed to identify her... I glanced at Dan because...well I recognised this girl and knew who she was. She looked to fragile, and was barely breathing amf the worst part is- it was Ruby..."

☆Dan's POV☆

"And it eventually turned out that the 'sufficent information' was about Phil and I... Ruby died because of us. But I'm glad we were there for her last words... she said: 'I'm so sorry. All I did was try to keep you safe but I failed. You two are the best friends anyone could ever have.' she chuckled softly and then looked at me in the eye said: 'Daniel James Howell; do you take Phillip Michael Lester to be your lawfully wedded husband?' Obviously I glanced at Phil and was a bit embarrass and felt awkward, like the Shrek I am but that all went away and I smiled because I know Ruby wouldn't want to see me like that at that moment so I smiled and replied with 'Yes. I do.' *Looks at Phil and smiles*

☆Phil's POV☆

"Then she said the same thing to be but vice-versa and again, I smiled and said 'I do.' Ruby had the biggest grin on her face and then came out with: ' Good. Now you may kiss your bride.' And winked."

☆Dan's POV☆

"She looked so happy yet so lifeless. I was so terrified for when the happy moment would eventually come to an end...
Phil smiled and kissed me as Ruby took two keyrings from her bag and gave us the rings to put on eachother. She smiled for one last time then closed her eyes." *Wipes away a tear*

"Okay. Well that explains why you're both wearing keyrings then"

"Yeah."

"Well. I'm sure Ruby would love this ceremony. Congratulations boys, you're officially married!"

Dan: Talking about Ruby on our official wedding day was brilliant because it was almost like she was there and it was truly amazing.

Phil: Yeah it really was!! R.I.P Ruby❤ We love you lots and hope you're sipping on some Heavenly cocktail!

Dan: Phil. Really?

Phil: I was trying to lighten the mood!

Dan: Ugh.

Phil: Well that was the end of The Amazing Book is Not Howell, we hope you enjoyed it! Ps. Ruby, haha we managed to tell our subscribers about you...sorry xD
