*Zayn's POV*

I sprayed on some cologne as a finishing touch to my look. I wanted to look good for Sapphire, you know, make a good impression. I was wearing jeans, a tight white t-shirt that showed my muscles, and my favorite varsity jacket to go with it. My hair was perfect, as usual, and I was wearing my new Nikes that Mrs. Horan bought for me. I don't wanna sound self-absorbed, but I thought I looked pretty fresh.

"Well well, doesn't someone look spiffy." I turned to see Niall leaning against the door frame, smiling big. I felt my cheeks turn pink. "Oh shut up. I wanted to look nice for her." He giggled, "Well good job. You look very handsome, for a player." he narrowed his eyes at me jokingly. "I'm not a player!" I cried, crossing my arms. "Sure sure, whatever you say Zayn." he said, flopping onto his bed. I smirked, jumping on top of him and tickling him. "You gonna take that back, Horan?!"

His laughter filled the house. He tried to push me off, but he was no match for me. "N-Never!" he sputtered out, red faced. I smirked, "Then suffer!" I continued tickling him until he said something. "H-Half!" he choked out. I stopped. "What?" he breathed deeply for a moment, a smile plastered on his face. "I said, it's half five." My eyes went wide as I looked at the clock. He was right. "Shit!" I jumped off the bed, grabbing my phone and basically flying out the door. "See ya Nialler!" I called out, on my way to meet my hopefully future girlfriend.

When I arrived at the docks, no one was there. I was confused, but I figured she still didn't know her way around yet. She's probably just running a little late, is all. Yeah, that's it. I walked out onto the longest pier they had. There was no railing around it, and I don't know how I got the courage to step foot on it, but I did. There was a sign at the beginning, saying

"DANGER! PIER ENDS AT DROP OFF."

A drop off is when it could only be two feet deep at one point, then 13 feet deep at another. So that basically meant the pier ended directly where the deep water started.

I stood at the end of the pier, looking into the blue-black water. I could see shadows moving underwater, I smiled. Though I don't like the ocean, fish, sharks, and everything that lives in it amazes me. I love nature.

Suddenly I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I felt like someone was watching me. As soon as I turned around, I was face to face with someone. I gasped and stepped back, spooked. Then I soon realized, that that 'someone', was Louis Tomlinson.

*Louis's POV*

Zayn turned around, then jumped back not expecting to see me. I smirked, not taking my hands out of my pockets. "Hello Zayn." I said cheerfully. He narrowed his eyes, looking at me, then I saw Liam and Harry behind me. "What are you three doing here?" We all shrugged. "Chilling. What are you doing here?" Harry asked, crossing his arms. Zayn bit his bottom lip, staring at the planks of wood beneath us. "I'm, um, waiting for someone.." he started, then he looked up with a annoyed look. "Why do you care anyway? Scram!"

My fake smile vanished in a instant. "Shut your mouth Malik, before you say something you'll regret." I warned, taking a step closer. He took a small step back, looking me in the eyes. "When did you get a backbone?" I did a fake laughing, shaking my head. "Oh Zayn.. Are you really that blind?" He gave me a puzzled look, then eyed Liam and Harry, who were starting to smile.

"I'll tell you when I got one." I said with a serious face. "The punches, the slams into lockers, taking my money." I started. "Kicking us like we're footballs, all the harsh name calling, the threats." Harry continued. Liam stepped forward, fire in his eyes. "Pushing me down the stairs, knocking me unconscious, and nearly killing me in the school's pool." he finished off.

I saw Zayn swallow, he was getting nervous. We all took another step closer, and again, he took another step back. Now he was on the edge of the pier, out of planks to back up onto. "THAT'S when we started to get a backbone, Zayn. We're fucking sick and tired of you pushing us around." I explained, I could feel the blood boiling inside me. He looked behind him, staring at the below zero temperature water, before looking back at us. His breath shortened.

"Don't catch a cold, Zaynie-Boo." I taunted, before shoving him into the freezing ocean. He let out a blood curdling scream before disappearing into the blue-black water. It only made us laugh harder.
