Sick day

*CRASH*

Kuro was ripped from his comfortable dreams by a loud sound coming from the other side of the house. He noticed he was alone in your room and raised his head looking at the door.
"Craaaapp~" he heard you whine from the other side of the room. He huffed as he let himself fall back down onto his pillow for a moment before dragging himself out of bed to see what was going on.

He walked out and over to the kitchen where he saw you propping yourself up with a broom as you covered you face with your hand in annoyance. "What's going on?" Kuro asked as he rubbed his eyes. You sighed and stood up straight again before pointing to the broken glass and water all over the floor. "Oh..." Kuro watched as you slowly started to sweep up the mess, your face was red, your eyes tired as if you were going to pass out.

Ah she's so troublesome I could die....

Kuro stepped over the mess and took the broom from you. You looked up at him in confusion but all he did was sigh and point you to the living room. Kuro began sweeping up your mess as you let yourself collapse on the couch. He sighed and threw away the glass before wiping up the water and heading to the living room where you were.

He looked over to you and saw you laying on your back on the couch covering your eyes with your arm and breathing lightly. He squinted at you before touching the back of his hand to the side of your face.

I wonder if she's-
Oh...that's a yes..

He sighed and looked around for a moment not knowing exactly what to do. You were sick. How do you un-sick someone? He walked away for a moment leaving you alone on the couch.

"Here.." Kuro sighed. You moved your arm slightly to see him. He held a glass of ice water out to you, "don't drop it this time..." he said while he looked away. You made yourself sit up and took it from him. "Thank you, Kuro" you smiled softly and took a few sips of water. He watched as you finished and set the half empty glass on the coffee table. You grabbed the tv remote and handed it to him before laying back down and curling up facing the back of the couch, "do whatever you want just don't make a mess..." you mumbled. Kuro sighed and sat on the floor letting you take the whole couch and turned on the tv.

Half the day has gone by. You've been laying practically dead on that couch the whole day. Kuro sat closer to the television so he could keep the volume low for you. He played his games on silent and he had to get up and feed himself twice.

What a pain...

Kuro ended up turning off the tv and laying on the floor next to the couch where you were sleeping. He stared up at the ceiling boredly. You were the one that fed him, you played with him, you kept him company but now he felt alone. Yes you were right there next to him but he couldn't help but feel, bad.. in some sort of way...

*RINGG*

Kuro was startled by the loud sound of your phone ringing. He covered his ears and groaned in annoyance.

*RINGG*

"Shut up~" Kuro whined as he rolled on the floor. The ringing continued. He growled as he got up off the floor and made his way to the fine that was sitting on the kitchen counter. 'Lilly/Misono' was the caller ID.

Kuro looked over to you seeing that you were still asleep despite the horrible sound of the phone and sighed before picking it up and answering,
"What~" he said in his lazy tone.
"Hello (Y-... oh Kuro! You picked up instead of (Y/N)? That's unlike you~" Lilly smiled from the other side of the line.
Kuro sighed and looked to the floor for a second, "Yeah.. uh.." Kuro mumbled. "What is it you want that you had to call us?" He asked lazily changing the subject.
"We wanted to check in on you two since you haven't made it to the meeting yet-"

Kuro took the phone from his ear as he glanced back to the living room seeing you up. You squinted at him and yawned, "who's on the phone..?" He looked down for a split second, "Lilly." He said bluntly. "What's he saying?" You asked in a tired voice. Kuro shrugged, "something about a meeting.. I don't know..." he walked over and handed you the phone.

"Lilly?" You asked tiredly.
"Oh there you are, (Y/N)! How have you been?" He said cheerfully.
"I've beed better, what's this about a meeting?" You asked
"Ah, have you not remembered? We are all meeting up at the family restaurant again" he said a little less cheerfully.
Your eyes widened. Oh no I forgot. "Oh my gosh, Lilly I-I am so sorry. I completely forgot, I've been-"
"(Y/N)-san is sick.." Kuro cut in.
"...Aw I'm sorry to bother you then. We all just wanted to make sure nothing happened on the way there or anything.... Uhm, If you don't mind, may I speak with ni-San again?" Lilly replied understandingly.
You handed the phone to Kuro who looked confused for a moment before raising it to his ear. "We can still go if we-" you said as tried to stand up but Kuro interrupted you before making you sit back down, "No you're sick" You could hear Lilly's voice coming from the phone but you couldn't make out what he was saying, Kuro hummed in response with a half-annoyed look on his face before saying, "Do whatever, i don't care" and then they both said their goodbyes before hanging up.

"What was that about..?" You asked as you laid back down. "who knows, I wasn't really listening..." he mumbled. You sighed and closed your eyes as you turned to face the back of the couch again. He sighed in response before going to your room and coming back with a blanket. He covered you and then took his cat form before curling up next to you with a yawn. You smirked and pet him gently before slowly drifting off to sleep. He eventually did the same.

Kuro was awoken by the sound of his stomach growling. Ugh why won't the world just let me sleep? He moaned in displeasure before rolling off the couch and taking his human form. He sighed as he walked to the fridge and opened it peering in. "Oh you freeze your pocky??" Lawless nearly yelled in Kuro's ear. Kuro nearly jumped out of his skin and stood up seeing everyone in your apartment, "I-I don't.. what..?" He stood confused. Lilly smiled, "Sorry we didn't mean to frighten you." "How did you even get in..?" Kuro asked in his usual tone. "I guess you didn't lock the door" you yawned causing Kuro to jump again.

You grinned and rolled your eyes at him before looking at everyone else, "what are you all doing here..?" You asked as you scratched the back of your neck. "Ni-San said you were sick so we came to visit~" lawless smiled. "We've brought food for you and Neko-San too..." (an: licht calls Kuro 'Neko-san' because Kuro turns into a cat) licht added. Kuro immediately ran to Lilly who was holding the food causing you to laugh.
"You guys really didn't have to come-" you started as you walked over to Kuro and yanked on his hood to get him to stop drooling over food. "Did you not eat?!" Kuro scratched his head, "I did but.." he trailed off.
Lilly smiled and responded to your first comment, "oh we don't mind at all" he held out the bags he was carrying and you took them and put everything away before sitting on the couch with everyone else.

The servamps ended up having their meeting at your house. They all sat around and talked. They ate and played a few games, you participated as much as you could but spent most of the time half-lying on the couch and trying to get everyone to stop worrying on you. Kuro eventually got tired of having to talk to people and tried to take the couch from you but you ended up knocking him on the floor making everyone laugh amongst themselves. Everyone stayed until about 8, cuz Misono had to go home before 9,and that signaled everyone else that it was getting pretty late. You managed to get up and say goodbye to everyone and thank them for coming (gotta be a decent host even if ur sick lol) before finding yourself alone with Kuro once more.

"Ah, that was such a pain..." Kuro whined as he took your spot on the couch. You weakly fought him for space before giving up and just laying on top of him, "eh, it was nice of them to come over and check on us though..." Kuro lazily shifted so you were more next to him instead of on top of him and sighed, "I only liked the food part..." you smiled before yawning, "of course you did." You joked.

Kuro looked down to you realizing that you had quickly fallen back asleep. He had almost forgotten you were sick since you were acting more lively when the others were here. He sighed as he carefully put his arm around you and closed his eyes.

I can't deal with this kind of trouble..
