Chapter 9

FRIDAY

I am very successful with not talking to Liam. I haven't moved on yet, like at all. Zayn, Erika, and Liam sit with me everyday at lunch. Speaking of lunch, I'm heading there right now. I sat at my table and Zayn and Erika did too. Then Liam sat here. I've pretty much been talking to anyone who talks to me, except Liam. He seems to be really down lately. I don't know why. I want to play flappy bird but I forgot y phone at home today. Liam has the game. It won't hurt just to say 'can I see your phone'. I'm seriously addicted to the game.

"Liam, can I see your phone?" I asked. He pulled out his phone.

"Sure." he said and gave it to me. I took it and turned it on. I slid it, I don't know the password. I typed in my name to see if it is still that. It is. I looked through his apps until I found flappy bird. I got on flappy bird and started playing it.

"Ugh!" I groaned after I died like, 20 times. Liam looked at what I was doing and chuckled. I kept playing. His high score is 87. Mine is 86. All of a sudden, a tray was placed in front of me. I looked around and it was Liam. He gave me a tray. I didn't even notice they got up to get lunch.

"Here is your lunch." he said. I kept playing flappy bird. He took it out of my hand. "No more." he said. I groaned and started eating. I talked to Erika and Zayn talked to Liam. When we finished eating, we dumped our trays and went to next class.

END OF THE DAY

So I am going home with Erika today. We are going to a party and I'm spending the night. She is really nice. I wish we would have became friends earlier though. But, since I'm going home with Erika, I have to ride with the rest of them. The car is Louis' and there is enough room for all of them and 1 extra person. I put my backpack on and Erika grabbed my hand.

"Come on." she said and pulled me outside. She pulled me to Louis' car. Everyone was in there waiting for us. We both got in and sat in a seat.

"What took you guys so long?" Lindsey asked.

"Elizabeth is slow." Erika replied. I rolled my eyes at her and she giggled. Louis drove to her house and we got out.

"Bye Erika." Louis said.

"Bye Erika. Bye Elizabeth." Everyone else said. Louis didn't say bye to me. Zoey did, but he didn't. I sighed.

"Bye guys." Erika and I said. Why does Louis hate me? We started walking to her house.

"Don't mind Louis. He's an asshole." she said. We walked inside. "Mom! Im home! I have someone for you to meet!" she said. Her mom came walking over to us. "Mom, this is my new best friend, Elizabeth. Elizabeth, this is my mom, Kate."

"Nice to meet you." Kate said, putting her hand out. I grabbed it.

"Nice to meet you." I said.

"We are going to a party later. We will be back later tonight." Erika told her mom. Kate nodded.

"Alright. Do you guys want something to eat?"

"Yeah. We will be right back." she said. We went upstairs and she took me to her room. We put our things against the wall. "Well, I'm not doing anything to get ready for the party. I'm going like this. You should go like that."

"Alright."

"Good." we walked back downstairs and got something to eat. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. I have a younger brother, he's just a year younger than us, but he is super annoying. He is going to flirt with you, just to let you know."

"How do you know?"

"Every time I have someone over, he flirts with her. And you're not ugly."

"Okay. Well, thanks for letting me know. If you didn't I'd be really creeped out. I still am going to, but I know what is going to happen."
