Chapter 19

Days. Weeks. Months have passed without Liam here. I miss him so much. He will be coming back home in 2 months and I can't wait to see him. We haven't been talking lately because he had to go to war. The place he was staying at, was attacked. Gladly, nothing happened to him. Sam is so nice. He said he would do anything to keep Liam alive, even if that meant he died. Being me, I cried. Anyway, Grace has been getting better a talking. So she talks a lot more. Zayn and Erika haven't been over for a few weeks. I used to call them a lot to come over. As well as Niall and Lindsey. But then, I felt like I'm being annoying. So the past few weeks, it's just been me and Grace. Right now, Grace and I are laying on the bed watching TV. My phone started vibrating and it was Erika. I answered it.

"Hello"

"Hi. Why haven't you been calling us?" she asked.

"I thought I was annoying you guys."

"You weren't annoying us. We told you to call us anytime, all the time."

"Alright."

"Can we come over?"

"Yeah."

"Alright. I'll see you guys in a few." She said and hung up. I looked at Grace.

"Erika and Zayn are coming over." I told her and she smiled.

"Yay. I miss them."

"I do too."

"What about unkie Niall?" Niall told her to call him uncle Niall. She can't say uncle so she says unkie.

"Do you want them to come over?"

"Yeah." she said and I text Niall asking if he could come over. He said they'd be here in a few minutes.

"They'll be here soon."

20 MINUTES LATER

Everyone is here now. Niall is holding Grace and we are all talking. My phone started ringing an it was a call from Liam.

"It's dada." I told Grace. Niall hurried up and put her in my lap. I answered it and put it on speaker.

"Hi dada!" she said as soon as I answered it.

"It's not dada. It's Sam. I have to tell your mama something."

"I'm here. What do you have to tell me?"

"It's about Liam." He said. No! Please say he's not gone. I started crying. "No Don't cry. He's still alive. He broke his leg though" he said. Grace put her hand on my face an wiped away my tears. I kissed her hands.

"Can I talk to him?"

"No. He was given pain medicine and it put him to sleep. Before he fell asleep, he said he wanted to call you and tell you."

"Oh. Okay. Can you have him call me when he wakes up?"

"Yeah. But it will be a few hours."

"Alright. Thank you. Did you help him?"

"Yes. I brought him here to be taken care of."

"Thank you so much."

"It's no big deal. I already made a promise to you guys and I always keep my promises."

"It is a big deal. You probably saved his life."

"Alright. Alright."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Well, I have to go. I'll tell Liam to call you when he wakes up. Bye."

"Bye." I said and hung up.
