Chapter 12

SATURDAY

Today is Liam's birthday. It was hard to get the game because he was always with me. So I made Karen make him do stuff so I could get it. Right now, I'm walking to Liam's house. We are going to go see a movie and go out to eat. Then we are going to meet up with Liam's whole family at his grandmas house. Then we are going to Louis' house. I've never met his whole family. Only Karen, Geoff, Nicola, and Jack. Geoff is his dad, he hasn't been around because him and Karen got a divorce. He cheated on her. He is remarried. He doesn't have any more kids. Liam, Jack, and Nicola are suppose to go to his house every other weekend. But Liam hasn't because he's been spending all of his time with me. Liam loves his dad, but he doesn't like his new wife. Like, at all. Liam doesn't even know her name, so I don't. But, Karen and Geoff still have a good relationship so it won't be awkward. And she has moved on from Geoff. I reached Liam's house and knocked on the door. Liam opened it and when he saw me he smiled.

"Hey baby." he said and gave me a kiss.

"Hi babe." I said. I handed him the game, it was wrapped. "Happy birthday." I said and he took it.

"You didn't have to get me anything. All I want is to be with you all day."

"I know. Just open it." I said.

"First, come inside." He grabbed my hand and we walked inside. We sat on the couch.

"Okay, now open it." I said and he did. He smiled.

"Thank you Liz." he said and gave me a hug.

"Your welcome." I hugged him back.

"I've wanted this game for awhile. How did you know I wanted it?"

"When we were at the mall, you looked at it. I could tell that you wanted it."

"Oh yeah. Well, I love it." he chuckled.

"Good." I smiled. We just sat there and talked for a little bit.

"Alright. We should leave for the movie now. We have to go to my grandmas at 3." he said and I nodded

"Alright." We stood up and left. He drove to the movie theater.

"What do you want to watch?" he asked me when we got there.

"It's your birthday, you pick." I told him.

"I really want to see Transformers 3." he said and I nodded.

"Then that's what we will watch."

"But do you want to see it?"

"Yeah. I love the Transformer movies." I told him and he smiled. He grabbed my hand and we walked inside. We got our tickets. We got popcorn, candies, and a drink. We walked to the room with the movie and he led me to our seats. I think normal people would go out to eat and then go to the movies, but we aren't normal. When the movie started, Liam put his arm around me. His hand was on my shoulder and I put my hand in his. I leaned towards him and watched the movie.

"That was so good." Liam said. It was a great movie.

"Yeah. It was." I said. We walked outside and to the car. We got in. "So, where are we going to go eat?" I asked him.

"Um, how about we to to Logan's Roadhouse?"

"I love that place." I said.

"Alright." he said and turned the car on. He drove to Logan's and we went inside.

"How many?" the lady asked us.

"2" Liam said.

"Alright." she said. She grabbed to menus. "Right this way." she said and started walking. Liam grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. We followed the lady and she set us at a booth for 2. We sat down and she gave us our menus. She told us who our waiter was going to be and then left. Liam put his hand on the table for me to put my hand in. I placed my hand in his and he rubbed his thumb on the back of my hand. We looked through the menu.
