Third Person's POV---
It was a happy day in the Moonlight Kingdom, the sun was shinning more than the stars and soon everyone was coming inside the castle, peasants, family, other royalty from nearby countries. Why must you ask? Well, it was because of the birth of the Princess of the kingdom, Crystal. Her parents sat at the throne, and her brother was in between them, looking bored and for anyone around the age he was. The kingdom rejoiced as they paid their respects to the newborn baby, even going as far as sending in gifts, and such, for both the parents and the newly born.
Soon, two human figures, enter, the King and Queen of Blisselia, who was close trade partner to Moonlight, came in with their blue haired daughter, they went closer and left the rose beds at the foot of the casket were baby Crystal laid in. The two pairs of Royal parents started their own conversation, Crystal's older brother went to chat with a red-head, brunette, two blonde girls, and a strawberry blonde girl. Who everyone assumed he knew them, when they saw that they were the closes trade partners to Moonlight. However the blue haired girl only went to the casket and looked at the baby girl that was inside.
"Hey... Welcome to the real world then..." the 4 year old bluenette girl said, to the blue and black haired baby, who only giggled as she saw her, this made the older one giggle at her.
The blue haired girl soon started to sing a sweet little song to the baby. While giggling at some parts and smiling at her.
Aqua: Hello little baby, you're princess just like meBet you're thinking maybe it's a pretty cool thing to beBut soon you'll see that everyone expects a lot from youThey'll say that there are things a princess should and shouldn't do Crystal: -Baby noises- Aqua: But you and me, we, we know better
She sang as she looked at the little baby, laying in front of her, who giggled at her singing. "I promise you, we're going to be best friends, and nothing is going to be able to separate us!" The blue haired on promised to the baby, who was only 4 years younger, with a big grin on her face and a nod.
~6 years later-
Crystal and Aqua: 1, 2, 3 together, clap together, snap togetherYou and me together, knees together, freeze togetherUp or down together, princess crown togetherAlways be together, you and me1, 2, 3 together, clap together, snap togetherYou and me together, knees together, freeze togetherUp or down together, princess crown togetherAlways be together, you and me
The two girls sand while playing the hands game were you clap in a certain order your hands, with another person, then they smirked and nodded at each other before getting up and dashing one way and around the place of Moonlight, they took turns to visit each other, Crystal would go to Blisselia for a month then Aqua would go to Moonlight for a month, they were inseparable.
Aqua: They say a princess is full of charm and graceThey say she always knows her placeThey say a princess wears pink and frilly clothesThey say she never laughs and snorts milk out her noseThey say she's calm, they say she's kindThey say she never speaks her mind or burns nanny's big behind
The blue haired girl said, as she imitated and mocked societies' views on what a princess is and how she acts, Crystal watched her and laughed with her then joined to her song. As Aqua made designs with her water magic, Crystal also had the magic, but she didn't know about it yet.
Both: But you and me, we, we know betterNanny: You girls are in so much trouble, when I'm gonna tell your father!Crystal: How come you can do that and I can't?Aqua: I don't know, I wish you could though...
They both said as they finished bothering their nanny, Aqua and Crystal didn't know why Crystal didn't have her powers or if she would have them, although they both hoped that she would, so they could both have fun with each other's magic abilities.
Aqua: They say a princess is super duper sweetCrystal She doesn't fight; she doesn't sweatBoth: And you never see her eat
They both said, as Aqua mocked the attitude of a sweet sweet sweet princess and Crystal mocked the attitude of a princess that doesn't fight or sweat, then they both laughed in unison, and kept running around.
Crystal: They say a princess doesn't climb and scrape her kneeAqua: They say a princess wouldn't soak her tutor's teaCrystal: They say she's poisedAqua: They say she's fairBoth: She never mentions underwear!
They both laughed as they sang this part, since they actually ruined their tutors teas, and mocked poised attitudes. But the last part caused them even more laughter as they took two pairs of underwear and threw them everywhere in the room of the castle.
Crystal: Or longs to see the world out thereBoth: But you and me, we, have big ideas of our ownFor the distant someday when we're grownAqua: When I'm queenCrystal: And I'm your right handAqua: You'll get to travelBoth: Throughout the land
They both hugged each other at this part, then ran into the field while singing, and dropped down into the sweet smelling grass, as 10 year old Aqua, and 6 year old Crystal imagined the distant somewhere and the lands that were waiting to be discovered by them.
Crystal: I'll tell them of my best friend and the magic things she can doAqua: We'll take care of our people and they will loveBoth: Me and youNo one can tell us what a princess should beAs long as we're together, you and me
Both of the princesses sang in unison as they laid in the flower field and laughed when they breathed in their last note. "You're my best friend Crystal..." Aqua said, looking at the other, Crystal nodded, and raised her pinky up to their face, "Promise we will always be best friend! No matter what!" Aqua nodded and curled her pinky to the other's as they both smiled.
This is the start of our tale here today. A tale that starts as friendship, and turns into, danger
