Third Person's POV---
After the Coronation, everyone went to the main hall for the ball, where there was first a dance by a group of dancers and musicians, while other people chat. Now that Aqua is the Queen of Blisselia everyone was celebrating. Now it's Crystal's chance to talk with her. But will she talk to her? Or will she ignore her like the past 10 years? Only one way to find out. Soon, the dance and music stopped, as the minister introduced Aqua, who gracefully walked in and stood besides the throne, as everyone bowed for her, soon the ball went on, people chatted, some others were dancing in their pairs, or alone. Hiccup, was with his friends, which were Jack, Merida, Punzie, Anna and Elsa, chatting, about their life and how everything has been going with their duties and kingdoms, although with the kingdom part, Jack was a little left out in, but he didn't care, he was just happy that people were actually seeing him.
Crystal only looked the way that the throne was at, as she went towards her best friend, her hands started shaking, and her eyes scanned the area, the people and soon, scanning Aqua, as she only waved at her, and Aqua waved back, they both stood there in awkward silence while looking away.
Aqua's POV---
From the corner of my eye, I saw Crystal coming my way, my mind started to panic, but I couldn't do much, not without raising a scene, which I didn't want because of obvious reasons. So eventually she got here, and waved at me, I waved back then we both looked away, awkward silence increasing as time went on.
"Hey..." I said, looking at her, then she looked at me surprised, "Wow... that's... the first time in a while you've said that" she smiled at me with soft eyes and smile, I nodded.
We both looked away again, then I noticed her dress, and her wavy styled hair, "You look amazing..." I said, looking at her with a soft smile, "Thanks, you look amazing too." She said as she scanned me up and down. Suddenly she walked up besides me while sniffing the air, "What is that smell?" And soon we both smelled the air and looked at each other, "Hmmm... cupcakes...." we said in unison and laughed.
I honestly missed this, laughs about ridiculous things, and talking in unison... playing and hanging out.... I sighed as I looked down, "I wish we could go do this more often..." she said as she looked at the ball, and all the people dancing and chatting, I looked at her and said as I looked at the ball too, "Well, it's funnier than I thought" I added, we giggled.
"I wish we could go back to being like this... Aqua..." She said after she sighed happily, I looked at her quickly with a frown, then said, "Me too... but we can't...." I said, "W-Why not?" I turned around and crossed my arms.
"We just can't... okay?" I said, looking down sadly. Soon enough, I didn't feel her presence anymore, I looked at the crowd and saw the diminishing form of my best friend.... I'm sorry... but... I can't control it and I don't want to hurt you...
