Chapter 4: I'll be Right Here For You!!!

***************************************************************************************************************

I felt myself tearing up, so I turned my head away.

"Hey, Angel, you know I'm here for you, right? You can tell me anything," Tyler says, nothing but pure concern dripping from his words. I sniffled, stuffing my face into his shirt.

My words came out muffled. "I know, Ty. I want to tell you, but you have to keep it a secret. The only people that know are my mom, my brother, and my best friend, Ashley," I said. He only nodded, letting me continue. I took a deep breath before diving into my story.

"My dad was James Fisher. He was the CEO of Microsoft. We were very close to each other. We would play silly games. Those ones every little girl plays with her father. He'd tickle me, he'd pretend to flush my nose down the toilet, all of that stuff," I said, starting to fall apart as I went through the painful memories of my dad. Tyler hugged me closer to him, patting my long, brown hair down. "One day, he was out on his way to a business trip. The flight went to New York. Before he left, he said, 'Jess, I love you. Don't you ever forget that.' He kissed me good-bye and got on his private jet." I was now full on crying. "The jet was hi-jacked, Tyler! Someone, we still don't know who, climbed on his jet after inspection, tampered with it, and left before Dad got on. And I never got to see him again."

Tyler tried to comfort me, by hugging me and whispering soothing nothings in my ear. He didn't dare say he was sorry, or that everything would be alright, because we both knew it wouldn't.

"Tyler, I'm so sorry. This is the second time I've broken down in front of you." I whispered, my face still buried in his chest.

"Angel, I want to see all the sides of you, whether they are pretty or not. I want to know the real Jessica Fisher, not some fake. If you ever want to talk to me, I'll be right here for you." He said, looking at me with an unknown emotion. I couldn't quite place my finger on it then, because it wasn't sadness nor happiness, and not even sympathy.

"Thank you, Ty." I took a moment to compose myself, before flashing him a weak grin. "Now, I've officially played 20 questions. What about that movie marathon?"

Since it was only four in the afternoon, we knew we had time. His mom said he could stay as long as he wanted. "Can I choose the first movie?" He asks me, jutting his bottom lip out. He looked so cute! It made him look like he was pouting, with those huge blue eyes just staring at... Jess! Get a grip! I thought, scolding myself.

I lifted my fingers to his lips, pushing the bottom one back in, before smirking and saying, "Fine, but you have to choose between Cinderella, the Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, and the Beauty and the Beast."

He rolled his eyes and stuck his tongue out at me before walking over to the DVD player and putting in the Beauty and the Beast. I clapped, because that movie was my favorite of the four. That movie passed quickly, because it wasn't that long (not because I had every single line memorized...). Then it was my turn to choose the movie. I knew what movie I was going to choose from the beginning. I went over to the player and put the disk in.

As I walked back to Tyler, I heard the soft, melodious voice of Rapunzel fill the room. She sounded so peaceful, so carefree, even though the story showed something so different.

Most of the movie passed by normally, with me snuggled into Tyler's side, and his arm around my shoulders. Suddenly, I heard a slight sniffle, right after mine. I looked at the TV, noticing we were at the part where Flynn was just killed by Rapunzel's evil 'mother', and he had cut of Rapunzel's hair. I then looked up at Tyler, and you'll never guess what I saw. Tyler Emery was... on the brink of tears! I'm not saying this was a bad thing, he looked cute, but it wasn't something I was expecting.

I hugged him tighter as Rapunzel revived Flynn through her tears. As the movie came to an end, Tyler spoke up.

"That was definitely the best movie I have ever seen." I looked at him, surprised.

"You haven't seen Tangled before?" I was surprised; nearly everyone I asked had seen it. He just shook his head, getting up to change the DVD.

The rest of the night passed like this, before we both decided to have dinner. I told him I needed to go to the bathroom, but I really just had to check what kind of food my body wanted.

When I checked, I was relieved to see that the junk food I had eaten made my number a little higher. This time, the number was 71. Not the best,  but not too bad compared to the previous number.

"Hey, Ty, I'm gonna make something sugary for dessert, and something really filling for dinner. Is that fine with you?" I called to him from the kitchen.

"Yeah, of course," was his reply. I could hear some kind of soccer match playing on the TV, so I assumed that was the reason for his short answer. As I entered 'spaghetti and meatballs' and 'ice cream' into Connor(my PDM), it adjusted the insulin in my body. I brought the food out to Tyler, and we both ate while watching soccer. Once we finished eating, we watched the rest of the game.

While watching, I noticed our positions. His back was up against the back of our fort, his bright blue eyes focused intently on the match. His lips curved into a slight smile as England made the ball into the net, scoring the winning point. His dark brown hair was all over the place, sticking out in every direction. I was sitting in between his legs, with my back against his chest. I laid my head down so it was right beneath his shoulder, and he smiled down at me. We sat there for some time, just staring deeply into each other's eyes - his deep blue ones to my dark brown ones.e

I turned around, taking a deep breath. "Hey, Ty, I wanted to tell you something."

His brows furrowed, but he just said, "Okay, what is it, Angel?"

I took another deep breath, before saying, "My dad wasn't the only one on the plane that day." Tyler frowned, but let me continue.

"So was my sister."

Ooooooh cliffhanger!!!

So... did y'all like it? I added a little drama, romance, and other things. I'm not sure if there was much humor, though.

Finally found out a little about Jess' past, huh? Did you find it... interesting, so to speak?

I hope you guys like it, It took 4 hours to come up with this. I mean, if it took 4 years, I'd still do it for my readers, but 4 hours is still a lot of time.

Oh, and by the way, I know that some dude named James Fisher was not the CEO of Microsoft, I just needed a big company for him to be the CEO of. I was going to do Apple,  but that would be too obvious.

ONCE AGAIN, ANYONE WHO COMMENTS WILL GET A SHOUT OUT INTHE NEXT CHAPRER!!!!!!

Question of the Chapter: Have you ever known someone who was able to get you out of your darkest times and show you the light?

Song of the Chapter: I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz (I know, I know, old song, so what? I love it :D)
