HEY GUISES!
I'm really sorry for not updating earlier. You see, I'm on vacation in India and it's hard to get proper internet.
Random fact: I'm watching Tom & Jerry: The Magic Ring for like the 15th time. Oh, sue me. I love cartoons. How many of you still like T&J?
Shout-outs to: (I'll do this later, because the internet has stopped working and won't show my comments so expect it up here by tomorrow [7/21/2014])
Dedicated to @ramdomlyrandom for reminding me to update! Thank her! She's so awesome, and I love her! <3 You rock, bae!
BTW, there are a lot of time-skips in this chapter.
Oh, and don't kill me.
Please.
I still have to see the Taj Mahal!
I have things to live for!
Haha.
Anyway,
Here's Chapter 18: The Trick and The Explanation!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recap:
I was awoken by a deep voice outside my door. "Jess?" It sang, as high pitched as it could be and cheery. I flipped over, looking at the clock. 5:59.
I smirked. Within a few seconds, the number's changed.
6:00.
Let's get this shit started.

"Come in," I called, yawning. The door cracked open the slightest bit, and I saw a head poke in. Arnold smiled at me, and if I didn't know how evil he was I'd actually think it was genuine.
He stepped inside fully, and I saw a glass of what looked like orange juice in his right hand. But I knew it wasn't orange juice. "I brought you some water. And I know you don't like things plain, so I put in some water flavoring stuff you kids like these days."
I nodded, pushing myself up into a sitting position. "Thanks." I made sure not to let him know that I knew anything about his plan, and took the glass when he held it out for me.
After I had drank all of it, he said, "Since it's early, you can go back to sleep if you want." Once again, I nodded, pretending to feel tired, even though I was really wide awake. I laid back down, fluttering my eyes closed.
Honestly, when the Quads (yes, that's their new nickname. Saying all their names is too long) came in and told me to drink their serum, I doubted it would work. But I did it, because I knew they couldn't kill me, since then Arnold would kill them. And if it didn't work, then oh well. But I think it was, since I wasn't sleepy or drowsy at all.
I could feel his presence in the room, and after a few minutes, he whispered, "Jess? You up?"
I stayed silent, knowing that I shouldn't respond to that question. I could practically here the smirk in his voice when he asked, "When's you're birthday?"
I replied in the most monotone voice I could muster. "January 2nd."
"Hm... I think this will work out very well. What's your favorite color?"
