betty

it's been one month since veronica and i started dating. it's been pure bliss, and even though we haven't told anybody about our relationship (though ronnie clearly wants to), our relationship is still blossoming. we've been on four dates since pop's.

"betty!" veronica laughed at one of my jokes, rolling on top of me, then leaning down and kissing me on the lips. i kissed back before both of us cuddled up to each other.

"when are we going to tell jughead and archie about us?" veronica mumbled in my ear. right now we were at her house. her mom was very accepting of her while if i told my mom about us she would kick me out of the house. growing up my mom put these heteronormative ideas in my head, i really didn't know how happy i could be.

i sighed, "i don't know. we can try tomorrow? but you know archie still has feelings for you." i said.

"i know, that's the point of telling him. he has to move on." veronica says, annoyed.

"maybe you should just talk to him. one on one. he doesn't get attached to people that easily, trust me." i suggest and sit up on the bed. archie, through everything was still my best friend and i didn't want his heart to break. we both agreed on veronica telling him.

"there's that party tomorrow, you could always just tell him then. plus there's always those dumb strip poker games and archie could just go meet someone there." i giggled at my own words, but it would be a good distraction. cheryl and archie didn't quite work out (by that i mean it was terrible), so maybe he just didn't meet the right person.

"we should play that together." veronica winked at me. she had that annoying way of making me blush with just a wink or a look.
"maybe another time." i kissed her cheek.

sorry for this filler chapter, but the next chapter is going to be full of pain/drama and this is a really cute chapter so
