"Emrysa Alexandra Ambrosius!" I heard Galia yell as she shoved me off the bed to wake me up. Oh, how I love my sister! Quickly I got up off the floor and headed towards the bathroom so that i could have a shower before rushing out to do my morning chores in the boarding school. I should probably tell you now humble readers that CHGYW is a boarding and day school. most of my friends are day students but me and my sister Galia are boarders on honorary scholarships for the sciences. When we first came to this school we didn't know whether we'd fit in but somehow we managed to befriend the most popular people in school. I say people because Artis is gender queer, meaning they don't identify as a girl or a boy. Sometimes they feel really feminine, like when they're around me and Georgie. But sometimes they feel really masculine, like when they're fighting or with Gwen. And other times they are just them.
Quickly I pulled on my uniform over my black leggings and MCR T-shirt. As I walked downstairs to meet Artis and Gwen in the cafe down the road, I sensed a strange presence outside the window. But when I looked there was nobody there. Maybe it was a first year trying to steal pancakes like every morning. "Bye Galia. See you in school. And remember to lock up before you head off to school." I yelled as I ran out the door and into the courtyard. The walls of the campus were covered in ivy and holly plants with a rose bush in the centre that earned it the name "Christmas Village" to all the alumni of the school. As I walked out the gate I had another sense of being watched so rather than looking behind me I ran to the cafe where I'd agreed to meet Artis and Gwen. But when I arrived all I saw was them arguing over something and Gwen's right arm on the table limp. I knew Gwen's mother had a quick temper from stories Gwen told me when she was little. But was her mum so abusive she had hurt Gwen?! 'Those questions could wait' I thought as I got into the cafe drawing attention to my arrival and ceasing the argument.
"Morning Emmy!" Gwen exclaimed smiling and waving at me with her left hand. Artis looked at me concerned as if she was silently begging me to bring it up to hear my opinion. I batted this away though as if Gwen really was in danger she would tell us I'm sure.
"Morning Gwen. Artis. So what are we eating today? Pancakes? Toast?" I replied happily. I saw Artis craning her head towards the window. I knew what she was trying to say as I saw many of the girls from our school laughing at us from outside. I quickly flicked my wrist and the blinds went down. Oh I should also mention readers I'm an all powerful witch.
"So Gwen," I sighed looking at her right arm which was still on the table."care to tell me what happened for you to have a broken arm?" As Gwen started talking I waved my hand over her arm setting the bone in the correct position and casting it over. Little did I notice the old man who had seated himself in the corner of the cafe...A/n: sorry these last two chapters are so short. I am trying to keep to a schedule of uploading for a specific chapter which has to come on a specific day to make sense. If you have any OC suggestions you want in the story then I will try to put them in. Just give me their name, age, birthday ,and a description of their appearance and personality. My only rule is NO MARY SUE'S!!
