"Ahh! Why does Artis have to be so irritating?!" I exclaimed kicking the nightstand. I heard a soft knocking at the door before somebody entered my chambers. It was Leon.
"Are you alright, Gwen?" Leon asked softly closing the door.
"Not really Leon! It's just... I used to argue with Artis like that when we were together. It never got too serious but I used to cry... A lot! Then one day my mother heard me crying and stormed into my room before breaking each of my fingers one by one. Bone by bone. On that day I vowed never to cry again... Guess today hit home and the almost dying thing triggered that memory. I'm sorry if I upset Artis. Can I go and apologise to them?" I asked wiping away tears.
"If you want, I mean, we talked to them about this and they had some other stuff to say. I'm not going to repeat it." He said shrugging his shoulders.
"Did Percival scream at Artis much?" I asked calming down and sliding onto the floor.
"Enough," he said looking out the window.
"See, he's the only one who really knew what has been going on when I wasn't in Camelot. He's sort of become a big brother to me, so he just wants to protect me and my heart from exes, like Artis, and abusive mothers, like Guinevere." I explain.
"Artis cares about you and Arthur. They may not seem like it, but they do. You should tell them and they might tell you what they said earlier." Leon says looking me in the eyes.
"This may sound odd. And you can say no. but... Can I have a hug please?" I asked turning my head slightly.
"Would it make you feel better?" He asked helping me up off the floor that I'd slid onto.
"Yeah... Emmy is usually the one that hugs me because Artis and Georgie hate bodily contact." I explained.
"Alright then." Calmly Leon wrapped his arms around my arms and torso and just held me there. 'Wow!' I thought to myself. 'Even in armour, he's like a bloody teddy bear!'
"Better?" he asked smiling at me.
"Much! Thanks, Leon!" I say in response.
"No problem." He chimes in.
"Also how much do you know about repairing dresses?" I asked holding up a teal dress with a slightly frayed hem.
"Not much." He stated.
"Well can you grab my sewing box from out of Artis' room so I can fix Emmy's dress please?" I ask pinning the hem in place.
"Sure." A few seconds later Leon returned with the sewing box and a long piece of teal satin.
"How did you know I'd want teal satin?" I asked shocked.
"Because you held up the dress." He responded shrugging.
"You quick learn my Jedi!" I exclaimed doing my best Yoda impression.
"That wasn't even English," he said squinting at me.
"It's a film... from... You know what, we will work on that later." I stutter.
"Right." He elongates the '-GH-' like I taught him.
*Timeskip to once the dress is completed*
"Nice work Leon! You could be a seamstress yet! Well a tailor but still." I exclaim high fiving him.
"Where's the fun in that?" Leon asked confused.
"You can force Arthur and/or Gwaine, into a dress you design. Anyway, I should really be showing this to Emmy." I exclaim matching it with my royal blue leggings.
