'The Perfect Two' [[Kagehina]]

Chapter 3: Life goes on

3 weeks passed. Hinata's condition didn't get any better. He became sick and had to stay in the hospital for another week. Kageyama didn't go to school either. He stayed in the hospital with him.

Hinata sleeps. 

--

''Hey. Hinata. Wake up.''

- ''W-what?'' Hinata says with a sleepy voice. 

''I got some breakfast for you.''

- ''Oh, thank you Kageyama.''

Hinata takes it. 

- ''Mmmh. What's this?''

''It's a pork bun filled with pork and some veggies.''

- "It's delicious!!''

Hinata quickly eats all his food. 

''Hinata? Do you need anything else?''

- "No, but thank you for asking.''

- I want to go outside. It's so boring here. Hinata looks at a tree next to the window. The cherry blossom tree.

It's the tree where they first met...

- ''KAGEYAMAAAAA. I WANNA GO OUTSIDE. I WANNA SEE THE CHERRY BLOSSOMS....''

"You know you can't go outside right? You're too sick. You're gonna catch a bad cold of you set one foot out of here ya dummy.'' *sigh*

I understand why Hinata wants to go to the tree. 

It's the place where we first met, so it means a lot. 

I miss all those moments so much. 

And with my mom and dad, we used to go to that cherry blossom tree every summer. 

Maybe I can take him to the cherry blossom tree if he gets better. 

But I need to make it a suprise. 

It's gonna be special for both of us.

Another week passed. Hinata got better and was allowed to go out of the hospital, not for too long of course, but an hour was fine.

Hinata sleeps.

--

''Pst. Psst. Hinata. Wake. Up.''

- "Guwaaah...'' *Hinata turns around while yawning*

''Pst. Psst. Hinata. Wake up, I have a suprise for you..''

- *Hinata turns around again*

- ''W-wh-what?? A suprise?''

Kageyama blindfolds Hinata's eyes. 

- ''K-Kageyama? What are you doing??''

''You will see. Just wait.''

Kageyama brings Hinata to a wheelchair. 

- ''GWAAAH...Kageyama?!!'' 

- ''What are you doing????!!!''

- "I feel like I'm sitting in a wheelchair.....''

Kageyama brings Hinata outside. 

To the cherry blossoms...  

Kageyama takes the blindfold off Hinata's eyes. 

Hinata's eyes are closed.

''You can open your eyes now...''

Hinata opens his eyes.

- ''Oh my god.''

- ''The cherry blossoms.''

- ''T-This is the place where we met each other...''

''I have another suprise for you...''

Kageyama takes a small box out of his bag. 

''H-Hinata, y-you have only year to live, but I wanted to give you something...''
