"Amise!"I listen to the yells of a little girl as I walk home from school. She sounds really happy. I smile. I wish I had siblings that were that happy to see me.
"Wait up! Stop! Amise!"
I turn around. Is her sister walking away from her? Why is she screaming that? Then I realize that she is running to me. I stop and watch the girl run up to me. She brushes her dark hair out of her face.
"There you are! Why did you dissappear? We have to find Liam, Amise!" She only looks about five years old. I laugh. I guess I look like her older sister. I kneel down so I am at eye level with her. "I'm sorry, I don't know who Amise is," I say. "My name is Kelly. I can help you find her though. What's your name?" I ask. Then the girl giggles.
I don't see what's so funny. "Silly, it's me, Sabrina!" She gives me a big hug. Okay, seriously, what? "Now, come on! Let's find Liam! He might be in the city!" She grabs my hand and starts pulling me in the other direction. I stop her. "Where are your parents? They must be worried about you." Sabrina stares blankly ahead.
A woman with brown hair and green eyes rushes up to us. "Camila! I've been looking everywhere for you!" She hugs the little girl. "I found my sister!" Sabrina-or Camila- says. Her mother laughs. Then the woman leans towards me. "I'm sorry if Camila has bothered you. She thinks that she has a long lost sister." She whispers. "I'm Mrs. Jackson." "Pleased to meet you. I'm Kelly. It's okay, she was no bother at all." I assure her. She sighs, looking relieved, and takes Sabrina-Camila's hand. "Let's go get some ice cream." She says. "Yay!" The little girl cheers. Then turns to me one more time. "See you later, Amise!" Then she walks away with her mother. I finally get back on my way home.
When I arrive home, my parents are at the door. "How was school?" my mom asks. "It was fine." I reply. I drop my book bag on the couch and sit next to it. I'm still thinking about that little girl. I wonder what that was about. A couple of hours later as I lay in bed, I have an odd feeling. As if someone is watching me.
A young girl stands in front of me. What's going on? I realize thwt we are in a town square. She turns around. It's the girl from this afternoon! She is wearing a raspberry colored dress. She wears brown boots. "Amise!" She runs to me. I look down to see that I am wearing the exact same outfit, only my dress is blue. "Amise! Sabrina!" I look back up and see a boy, not much younger than I, running to us. He wears a white button down shirt with some black pants. His boots are brown like ours. "Liam!" Sabrina yells. We all stand together. Then shouts can be heard from everywhere. I am pulled away from Sabrina and Liam. I am forced on my knees. Masked men and women stand around me. I see the terrified looks on the kids faces as a gun goes off.
I wake up with a start. That dream was really weird. I look at my clock. 7:00. I get out of bed and start my daily morning routine. After breakfast, I head to school. I don't get far before I see Sabrina again.
