"This isn't good..." I say to Sabrina. Maya just stands by, looking concerned. I get up and Maya walks closer. "Todo es bien. Gracias." I thank her. She smiles. "De nada. Tienen cansado?" She asks us. I nod. The day has worn me out, so I'm pretty tired.

Maya brings us to a small room. Then she leaves and brings back blankets and pillows. She lays them out to create a small bed for us. "Gracias." I smile and thank her. "Buenos noches, chicas." Then she leaves.

"I'm scared to sleep." Sabrina says. I turn to her, and see that she is trembling. She has seen so much, and it had made her very mature. Even though she acts mature, I have to remember that she is still a little kid.

"Sabrina, how old are you?" I ask. I sit on our makeshift bed, and she follows. "Seven." Wow, she looks so young for her age. "I guess you already know how old I am, right?"

"Yes. Fifteen years old." I smile. "If you go to bed, I'll stay up and make sure nothing happens." Sabrina shakes her head. "But my knee...and your head...they'll find us, and you'll be alone!" She exclaims. "No, you will be next to me. It's okay." She sniffs and nods. Then she lays her head down on my lap.

I stroke her hair until I hear her light snores. Then comes the looking out part. Yes, it's true, my head still hurts, so they can't be far. I do everything to keep myself from falling asleep. Counting in Spanish. Singing softly. Daydreaming. Or, night dreaming. I raise up Sabrina's wrist to see the time, then I remember that I have a cell phone.

I pull out my phone and open the home screen. I read my notifications.

I can't believe this. I sit with my head in my hands. I want to text them back, but what would I say? I am an older sister from another time line and I'm with my sister trying to find my brother? I don't think that will work.

I sigh and look at Sabrina. I can't just leave her, heartbroken. I at least want to help her find Liam before I just leave her. I smile. She is a good kid. She deserves happiness in her life. Especially since all the stuff she has gone through has terrorized her.

I look a the time. 4:46. It's almost morning. I guess everything is fine. That is, until Sabrina starts to whimper. Pain shoots into my head like a bullet. Sabrina clutches her knee in her sleep. I look around and see the shadow in the window.
