It started out, as most things do, with a single soul. Given willingly for those who needed the light, it opened up a whole new realm of possibilities. And so we were freed.
My name is Sans, brother of the great Papyrus, Grillby's regular, and one who remembers.
I first saw the sun on a beautiful March morning. It had just started to come up over Mount Ebott, and for many, symbolize freedom. Never again would we go back to the dark caverns our race had come to call home!
Never again would we be the bad guys. The ones under the bed and lurking in closets. The monsters were back. And we were ready for whatever would happen. Only I remember what could have been.
