"What is she doing here?" Hissed Aurora to Elizabeth as soon as Katarina entered.

"Taking this class, I'd guess," said Elizabeth with a laugh.

"It's not funny, Effie, you're supposed to be on my side."

"And I'm very solidair by nature," said Elizabeth, "but Katarina hasn't really done anything wrong yet this year, Ara. Maybe she- oh...never mind."

They watched as Katarina moved over to Caspian. She pulled her shirt down a bit and even went as far as to open another button to show more cleavage. The look actually looked very good on her, not at all slutty but rather elegant.

"God, I hate her," said Elizabeth, "her tits are great."

Katarina leaned on the table and Caspian looked up. "Hey, can I sit here?" She asked flirtatiously.

"Uhmm...yes, of course," said Caspian, frowning. As soon as Katarina was seated, she leaned closer to Caspian in such a way it was almost unnoticable.

Something in Caspian's eyes changed. He looked rather overwhelmed. As if she smelled really nice or something.

Caspian shook his head as if to try and get himself to ignore Katarina. But she was determined. She leaned forward even more, whispering to him and smiling seductively, her finger tracing his arm.

"Well, I'm sorry to say this, Ara," said Elizabeth, "but that girl is basically sex on legs. And seemingly only interested in Caspian...and technically you aren't dating him so..."

"Yeah, yeah," growled Aurora, breaking her quill in two as she watched Katarina, "she really has it all."

After an excruciating hour of Ancient Runes, where Aurora had been glaring at Katarina the entire time, she, Elizabeth and Hermione made their way towards the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom. They were all carrying an armful of heavy books and looking put-upon as Harry and Ron joined them.

"We got so much homework for Runes." Elizabeth groaned, shifting the books in her arms slightly.

"A fifteen-inch essay, two translations and we've got to read these by Wednesday!" Hermione was saying anxiously to Ron.

"Shame," he yawned.

"You wait," she said resentfully. "I bet Snape gives us loads."

"Hey, Aurie!" Someone chirped just a little bit over the top happy.

"Don't they hate each other?" whispered Ron in confusion.

"Hate's a big word." scoffed Katarina, still grinning. "Right, cousin?"

"Sure...." muttered Aurora, suspiciously.

Caspian joined them, together with Draco, Blaise and Theodore Nott. Apparently the only Slytherins having chosen DADA.

Katarina's entire stance changed as Caspian came into view. A love-struck gaze filled her eyes and they were reserved only for him.

Aurora had to give it to her. She seemed really in love.

The classroom door opened as she spoke and Snape stepped into the corridor. Silence fell over the queue immediately.

"Inside," he said.

Aurora looked around the room as they entered. Snape had imposed his personality upon the room already. It was gloomier than usual as curtains had been drawn over the windows, and was lit by candlelight. New pictures adorned the walls, many of them showing people who appeared to be in pain, sporting grisly injuries or strangely contorted body parts.
