Finally seeing again

I'm so sorry you guys! I haven't posted in what seems like a very long time but I'm great full nobody said anything! I have been busy reading some stories and one specifically called ROOMMATES and I forgot who wrote the book but it is amazing! If you are a romance genre person then definitely give the book a try!

Maxon's POV

Me and my father had been gone over 2 months due to some extra negotiations we had to make with new Asia. I was finally back in Illea and ready to see my beautiful America. I had to stop writing to her about 2 weeks after my departure because we were too busy and never got a chance.

I was walking into the palace in a suit, smiling as I thought about seeing America. My smile quickly turned into a worried frown because I heard a hissing scream come from behind the hospital wing, and then the next thing I see is Aspen carrying America bridal style, but her not looking so good. I think she was going in labor.... she looked my way for a second and had a confused look on her face. My heart once again melted at her beautiful sight.

They were already in the hospital wing when I got back into the real world, and then I heard my fathers voice chanting my name.
"Maxon, there you are! What was all the commotion?"
"Father, America is going in to labour is what I believe!"
He looked at me and told me to go. I was so glad he had at least changed a bit but I would still never forgive him for after everything he did in the past.

The guards took my luggage to mine and America's room and I was off to the hospital wing. The nurse in the front saw me and gave me a warm welcoming, and told me that America was in the room to the right. I thanked the nurse and then ran to the room and pushed the door open.

I saw many nurses and doctors surrounding her and right as I saw them I told her to back away and give her space. They cleared the way for me and I finally saw America again. She looked even more beautiful then the last time I saw her and I fell in love again.

"Maxon?!" She lightly croaked.

"America!!" I croaked back.

Our own romantic time, but the one thing that had to ruin the moment was another contraction. She screamed louder this time and I ran up to her and help her hand tight. She squeezed my hand so tight after that and I felt my hand go numb.

"The princess's contractions are getting closer together. 10 centimetres dilated!" Everyone crowded around her again and after that, everything went By like a blur.
