5 Years Later

Niall fixes his tie as Liam fixes his shoelaces. Their little boy, Ethan, who is four, ties his shoes while sitting on the floor near his fathers. They're getting ready for Ethan's meeting at his kindergarten school, in which he'll start in a few months. Hopefully.

"Are you ready, bubba? You won't be doing a lot of the talking, your papa and daddy will, so don't be too nervous." Ethan smiles bright and nods, his eyes crinkling at the sides, just like Liam's.

He has Niall's bright, blue eyes, Liam's soft, thin, brown hair, and a good combination of their facial features. He is a very beautiful kid who is also smart for his age; just like his daddy, Niall.

"I'm ready, daddy." He says happily, giggling as Liam picks him up to hug him, tearing up in the process. Niall tears up as well because he has grown up so fast; it is insane how time flies.

"We're so proud of you, bubba. You are going to be very smart and you'll change the world." Liam whispers into Ethan's ear as Niall kisses his head. The little boy smiles again, nodding firmly in response.

"Let's go to your, hopefully, kindergarten school, little one. Think good things you two." Niall says before they head out of the house and to the car, ready for the next step in Ethan's life.

After the meeting had ended, the three went back home to wait for a phone call from the principal. Ethan was playing with toys though, while Liam and Niall waited on the couch wearing tank tops and sweats.

"I hope he got in. Schools are so weird around here." The man sighs and shrugs his shoulders, pulling his blonde closer to his side.

"I am sure he will get in, love, there is no need to worry, at all. He is smart and ready for the world of school. He will get through it all, but if he needs help, we will be there for him, always." Niall nods and sighs happily, looking into Liam's eyes. The love for him has only grown more and more.

"I love you, Li, because you you always know what to say... My sugar daddy." Liam smirks and pats his lover's side, humming in his ear quietly

"No teasing or being sexual around Ethan, remember? That'd be gross and irresponsible. But I am your sugar daddy, love.

I have been spoiling you for five years now. You deserve all that I have given you though, that is for sure, Ni." The blonde blushes and kisses his husband's cheek, sighing happily as he cuddles closer into his warm side.

"That's true, and I thank you for everything. Helping me when I was at my worst, by bringing me into your home, buying me what I wanted, and cooking for the both of us. You didn't have to do all of that, but you did, and I appreciate that." Liam smiles slightly and pecks Niall's lips, hearing Ethan fake gag a few seconds later.

"Oi, you'll be kissing someone when you're older, bubba. I thought kisses were gross too, before I met your daddy." The older man says cheekily, making Niall and Ethan fake gag together. The brunette frowns and pouts, but Ethan comes over to him and pecks his papa's lips.

"I love 'ou, papa. But I don't like kisses from other people." Liam sighs happily, rubbing his son's back slowly.

"You are saying that now, but when you get older, you're going to want to kiss that special someone and love them to no end." The brunette says, looking right at Niall who begins to blush. Ethan giggles and kisses his daddy's cheek, smiling big.

"I only love daddy and papa." Is all he says before earning two big kisses on his cheeks from his fathers, repeatedly letting out ew's for a few seconds. When they pull away from their son, he scrambles out of Liam's reach and goes back to his many toys.

"What do you think he'll be, love? Straight, Gay, Bi..." Niall shrugs his shoulders as the two of them watch their son in adoration. He's so cute.

"I'm not sure, too soon to tell, if I'm being honest. I didn't figure it out till I was ten; which was because of a random, cute boy kissing me out of nowhere. I didn't count it as my first kiss though." Liam smiles at him lovingly and pulls him close to his side again, letting the blonde rest his head on the man's shoulder.

"Did you count me as your first kiss, love?" Niall blushes again, nodding slowly before looking up at him, his chin rested at the end of the man's broad shoulder. Liam licks his own lips and smiles, pecking the blonde's smaller lips.

"You're so cute. I'm glad I was your first, real kiss. The one we shared at the ceremony was surely interesting though. Everyone kept on clapping as we kissed for like a minute." Niall chuckles and laces a hand with his man, staring into his big, brown eyes still, with his own crystal blue ones.

"There were also a lot of tears and reunions. It was just a perfect day for the both of us and for our families. I was very happy that day. I still am." Liam grins and pulls Niall onto his lap, holding him even closer to his warm, hard chest.

"Same here, my love. I couldn't be happier to be married to someone so beautiful and perfect for me. Luckily, no one has ever judged us or said that what we have is gross. I guess that's humanity developing." Niall chuckles lightly and rests his head on the man's shoulder again. He's right.

"Development is key in everything. Even life. People grow to be more kind, more weary of their actions. It is truly inspiring; besides the people who can be pricks." Liam laughs softly and begins to rub his younger lover's side. Their thoughts always come together to make more logic of something, it's amazing.

"You're right, love. We just have to focus on the people that matter and the ones who we love. Including each other and our baby, Ethan." As if on cue, Ethan comes over with his lego cars. He looks up at his father's with his big blue eyes.

"Can daddy and papa play with my cars?" His fathers smile at each other before joining him on the carpeted flooring. Ethan smiles big at his parents; he's so lucky to have them. He wouldn't want anyone else to be his parents as they're kind, generous, and they love him to pieces.

That was how they spent the next hour and a half though, playing with the cars, cracking smiles, laughing at different moments, and making a new memory that they can look back on.

Niall has been looking at his past, and he is so thankful for Liam and what he has done for him. He's given the younger man a home, love, and a perfect family. What more could he ask for?

It has gotten to be around ten, so they have already put Ethan to bed, the two now laying in their own, cuddled up together while wearing only boxers.

"I think I should spoil you more tomorrow, as it is Valentine's day." Niall and softly and kisses Liam's jaw slowly, the man humming quietly. The blonde wouldn't mind that at all.

"I'd like a lot of chocolates and flowers, my sugar daddy." The older man chuckles and pats the blonde's bottom lightly, pulling him closer to his chest. Anything for the blonde, and he'll get it.

"Anything and at anytime for my sugar baby."
